Hobbycraft have a lovely selection of Christmas jigsaws that are often reduced and if you sign up via their app you are offered a variety of vouchers throughout the year.

If you’re ordering from Hobbycraft today you can get £5 off a £20 spend or £10 off £40 with the code CRAFTY so 25% off if you spend exactly that. It’s for ‘Craftober’ so today might be the last day.

I needed one thing in particular but was able to get my spend up to £25 for free postage by adding things like packs of googly eyes for 50p (from £1:50) and alphabet beads for £1 for 40g (from £3:50.)

Craft supplies clearance is here. Christmas jigsaws are here.

I can never get it lower than £13.29
I don't know if I keep missing it, am looking at the wrong one, or if its just different prices for different people!

I kept it in my basket and have been checking every day. The price seems to go up and down. It was the amber one I got

Looking for a casserole dish / dutch oven style pot, suitable for induction hob and oven BUT not cast iron as too heavy for the recipient.
Any recommendations / offers please?

As pp has said, aluminum is the way to go here @zacsGranny. I adore my le creusets which I inherited when they got too heavy for my gran.

She has these casserole pans now instead and they look just as lovely but are much lighter. They come in pretty colours and are a bit of a bargain at 36% off on Amazon at the moment - I’m glad I looked, I’ve ordered her another in a different size for Xmas.

Has anyone ever bought or used one of those unsolved mystery or unsolved crime case files? They’re about £20 but wanted to know if they are worth it before buying! Dd has mentioned them before and I think DS would quite like trying it too!

Yes and I enjoyed it! Would buy again if you fancy yourself as a detective!

Picked up a set of 3 dr paw paw balms today from home bargains, in store, £2.99.

over £6 on Amazon for same set & this is the item direct from dr paw paw for £12. They had another version available too in store

I saw this in TK Maxx at the weekend for £6. Home Bargains ftw

QueenOfWeeds · 30/09/2025 20:05

Was ambling round our local Waitrose today and found some yellow stickers in the homeware bit which I’ve never seen before - the square crimpit for thins was £6, an oxo mini chopper half price for £12. I’ve only ever seen the yellow stickers on food but this was on a shelf in mugs and cookware.

Hive mind help... my DD bought a bracelet on holiday in Croatia this year which she loved but lost it on a theme park ride at the weekend 😫I would love to surprise her with a replacement for Christmas if I can find one.

It wasn't expensive - €8-10 or something. So I thought it would be a Chinese import of some kind. I've tried to remember the shop we bought it from and can't find it online.

It was very much like this one, but all in silver, rather than gold. stainless steel roman alphabet pattern men women - Temu United Kingdom

If anyone is able to find it for me I would be massively grateful.

Smyths had some on demo instore that didnt need to be plugged into the TV that looked good! Think they were £25!

Thank you! I have heard mixed reviews on this one, because of the sensitivity of the pads. But for the price might be worth a try.

Statsinyoureyes · 30/09/2025 20:40

Haven't kept up with the thread so sorry if this has been said, but on the Asda / George website there's 50% off a lot of home and electrical things, including a dolls' house, air fryers, hooded blankets, pots and pans and lots of bedding including kids' designs such as Marvel, Lilo and Stitch. Looks like some great bargains!

Cos1970 · 30/09/2025 20:40

Saw some Barbie deals in Sainsbury’s today plus they had a load of Hello Kitty Halloween themed bits although these weren’t reduced, even though they were on the special offer shelves.

Anyone recommend a 1000 piece Christmas themed puzzle for our house guests to do over Christmas? We always buy one (and a large bottle of Bailey's to help us finish the puzzle before everyone goes home).

We had this one a couple of years ago - picked it up from a charity shop. Everyone joined in with it, even the teenagers! There are so many funny bits that you spot as you are doing it.

We love a puzzle in the Mexico house. Last year I had this Christmas books puzzle and it was lovely.

I really like the quality and fit of the Gailsons ones, so am eying up these this year: Snowfall puzzle Festive Market puzzle and lights puzzle

Thank you so much! I've ordered the Christmas books puzzle 😊

EdenGlen · 30/09/2025 20:47

Thank you so much for all your music player suggestions! Lots to think about. I still like the idea of the mighty player as it’s screen free but that fanvace mp3 player would be perfect if you can remove all the other apps. We also have a yoto player and I had no idea it could be a Bluetooth speaker! It does say that you need to use the device to skip songs etc.

Also good to know that there are others out there who don’t trust Alexa. My kids are very annoyed as “everyone” else has one and they’re not allowed!

Hope this works? The one she bought wasn't exactly like this as it was silver, and I think the roman numerals were 1 3 9 12. But it was the same solid band with the diamond bit. I've tried every kind of google search I can think of and no luck so far

Those looking at the Cryptic Killers kits, I'm sure they went down to around £15 on Black Friday last year on Amazon. My DD got one and we all enjoyed doing it as a family (and got the kids away from screens!)

Thanks just ordered,

I collected this today and the bag has a mini spray and a mini bum bum cream in it. I wasn’t expecting that. Great value when you include the spray with 25% off.
