Thanks for the Uber eats tip, I had £20 off a £10 order so got 2 caramel chocolate oranges, a Pringles gift set, some Halloween crisps, popping candy for trick or treaters, Malteser reindeers for the advent calendar, rosemary crackers, chocolate nibbles and a big Gold bar for the grand price of £2.88! this is a bit pricey obv but I’m think more like if you have several people who would like jewellery as gifts ( and keep a couple if yourself, or spread out over Christmas and birthdays) it’s less than £20 per item and these are great quality, I’ve got quite a few of their things.

It’s worth having a look at perfumes/aftershaves on the Lloyd’s pharmacy website.

There are some in the sale mega cheap, I’ve managed to get cacherel amor amor 30ml, jimmy choo original 40ml and Calvin Klein eternity moment 30ml edp for £34.96 as I found a further 20% off code which is STOCKUP20.

Is it just the buttons that are the problem? If so, what about cutting them off and attaching velcro or poppers behind so they still shut. If the obvious holes are still a problem, perhaps sew a strip of ribbon down over them if that's of any help?

Ive given up with the uber eats offer! I got £13 off but still seems quite expensive as the prices are hiked and theres a £3.22 uber fee?! 🙃

It's not just the buttons, it's the collar and possibly the material, if it's shirt type material. Altering for the buttons would cause more complications, as velcro or poppers wouldn't be tolerated.

Thanks for the Uber Eats tip. I had £15 off a £25 spend so got a bundle of already discounted items from Sainsburys (large share bag of peanut M&Ms, maltesers, Haribo) for stockings and it effectively took them down to just over £1 each.

Me too! Actual item prices were more than in store then a delivery fee and a processing fee or whatever wasn't working out very good!

Planning ahead: over the weekend of 4 - 5 October the Superseconds Festival takes place.

It's where 250+ independent makers sell seconds, one-offs and end of line items, many at a substantial discount. I have bought things over several years and found some great bargains.

The point in mentioning it now if that if you sign up to the mailing lists for any sellers you like the look of, then some offer an early start to their sale and/or a code for a discount.

Here's a list of the makers who will be taking part. There are plenty of ideas for Christmas gifts there.
