How are you all spending your Boxing Day?

We are all having a lazy day.

Had a lie in, a bath, put pyjamas back on.

Bacon sandwich this morning, now going to have a buffet tea with cheese, crackers, crisps etc. made a trifle.

Hopefully going to catch up on some tv later and have an early night.

Didn’t get up til 10.45 which is unheard of! DH & I visited my DM & DF with their presents & Facetimed DBro & family. Then we popped into town to collect a Nintendo Switch game for DD16. I had a turkey & breadsauce sandwich with crisps for lunch. Probably just have cheese & crackers tonight. DH & I watched Grease & are just about to watch Part 2 of Call The Midwife. I have an alcohol free drink that’s supposed to be similar to Baileys so will try that later.

I did a power walk on my treadmill this morning.

Walked the dogs with ds 20

Spent the afternoon drinking Prosecco , exchanging presents and playing games with my sisters and family.

Now quaffing water to stave off a hangover and chilling on sofa in pjs.

I was supposed to go to the in-laws but our youngest was unwell so I stayed home with them. I hoovered and mopped, did a wash load, cleaned a cupboard, sorted my pressies then spent the rest of the day on the sofa watching xmas telly and eating nice food.

Working tomorrow. Today I slept in, did a load of washing, baked a week's worth of dog biscuits and waterproofed new suede boots. Quick tidy round house. DH watching football with MIL. Cheese and biscuits, turkey sandwiches, cake. Watching a couple of films now. Want to shampoo carpets at the weekend.

In bed on my phone recovering from my bad cold that I had to power through yesterday while my little boy enjoys time at his dad's house. A wine and a good nights sleep tonight I hope!

We all went to a shopping centre and browsed like crazy because some of DC's friends birthdays are coming up etc. and we had Nando's for lunch as well as a really long walk before coming home abolutely shattered and everybody's had an early night.
