previous gifts have included:

1 her fav branded face products. This was met with ''I've already got loads of that''
2 A v small bottle of some branded and expensive beauty product she had always wanted to try (along with other gifts too). I couldn't afford a full size bottle. This part of the gift was never thanked or commented on. I thought she might have bene a bit 'wow, have always wanted to try this''. But nope,
3 A bag to which she replied ''I already have that''

Budget is up to £100. No beauty or cosmetics, she has already declared that for Christmas. She has lots of jewellery. She has no hobbies so no books/cooking stuff/foody gifts/ booze gifts/gift experiences.

I'm totally stuck

This person isn't your friend OP. I'd give her a card with sweet FA money in it!
Does she give you £100 worth of gifts too???

If you insist on something:

Please get stuff a rat and report back on that.
She's surely unlikely to have one already.

I don't spend that much on my adult children. If she's always ungrateful get her a box of chocolates, an H box from Hotel Chocolat would be suitable, not too expensive but looks like you made an effort.

How ungrateful is she?!!
She doesn't sound like a friend or even a polite acquaintance.
Tell her you have a small budget because most people actually have everything they want..,, and buy her a charity toilet!

I think the main thing is how ungrateful she sounds , it's like she is treating your gift buying as a competition you need to win .

I like the idea above of the hotel chocolate H box and a nice card , job done . If you insist on spending more I'd buy a gift for £30 - £50 and tell her you've also made a donation to her favourite charity in her name .
