Festive afternoon tea in London - help!

Am really struggling (first-world problem, obvs) to pick somewhere for a Christmas afternoon tea in London.I want a lovely, Christmassy venue, and somewhere that looks posh (ie. not Peggy Porschen). Somewhere like the Lanesborough would be ideal - except not that as we want Christmassy-themed food, not Bridgerton-themed. And not the Landmark or Cafe Royal.

Any recommendations?!

St Pancras hotel is lovely at Christmas, no need to book, just rock up on the day as there is usually lots of space. I have done this every year without any problems.

I have done lots of these as used to go to them for work events, and can categorically say that the Brown's Hotel one is the absolute nicest (with a pianist and Christmassy themed food). It is posh but not stuffy (I had my baby on the floor next to me rolling on a blanket one year) and not vonveyor belt like the ritz or savoy.

I know it's left field but the broths museum upstairs does a lovely afternoon tea. Not sure if it's posh enough?

The Mandarin Oriental, absolutely beautiful

I was wondering if you could get it at the Shard and it's the first one on that Visit London list. That would be lovely.

I once went for a work thing but I can't remember where now. It wasn't that posh I don't think but if it comes to me I will come back and post.
