No help but we've had a comically small (3", on a 6ft tree) basic angel since forever. Dh got it as a joke as it had my haircut and round face and we can't change it now 😂

I’ve got this from M&S. Neither tasteful nor elegant but it does make me smile.

I got something very similar from M&S last year. They had a Sparks money off decorations in the run up to Christmas. They may have similar this year. I've found a lot of the toppers that are have a spring to go on the tree don't work on real trees and/or are too top heavy to stay upright.

We’ve got a lovely custom made one from Etsy this year. It’s knitted wire with our family name in copper. It looks really sweet on the top of the tree.

No idea. Ours is a slightly abstract angel with a gauzy skirt and bronze wings that I've had for at least 20 years.

I'm impressed by people who renew their Christmas decorations. I don't seem to have the time.🙂

We have this lady. Sometimes she hangs and sometimes she tops. We alternate between homemade angels, made by the DC 20 years ago, and her.

I have this - a reindeer in an angel costume with a cracking pair of boobs! Found it in TK Maxx a few years ago!

I have a fairy bought from John Lewis over 10 years ago. I put the lights inside her skirt so she glows

I also have the Nkuku Bakara star, it works well with a real tree

I previously bought this other Nkuku one Talini star I do NOT recommend for a real tree as it’s too heavy and the spring is too large for the top spike of the tree so it just topples off. I put it on a shelf now.

I've got a glass angel from Etsy for one tree. The other has an ancient Shaun the sheep Christmas tree topper (probably 25 years old) - my mother always hated it so it remains!

I am very tempted by a doctor who weeping angel tree topper though...

We went without a tree topper for years, I had a Snowy owl that I use to clip near the top of the tree as I could never find anything nice. I picked up a few stars but they never sat on the tree properly and most angels just looked awful, until a couple of years ago I found a cheap Angel in a discount shop, it didn’t look creepy and was the right colour and size. So I now have a cheap £3 Angel on top of a £300 tree 😂

Glass bauble shaped topper. Bought in the Netherlands about 20 years ago. All the lovely glass baubles were predated by kids and pets over the years but the topper survives.

The selection of tree toppers is just awful. Most are too heavy to actually stay on the tree nicely. Many are just not attractive. I have bought and rejected so many.

One year out of frustration I made a stellated dodecahedron out of some heavy paper we had lying around and we have been using it ever since.

We've treated ourselves to a new tree topper this year. She's a Fairy Godmother. Photo attached showing her on top of the artificial tree which will go in the kitchen but she's actually destined for the real tree.
