Main present ideas for 3 year old girl please :)

Hi

I am really struggling for a main present for my 3 year old girl. I can think of lots of things at £10 (!) but no big ticket items.

She's got a bike, scooter, play kitchen, play shop, tablet. She loves princesses, peppa pig (help me Lord!), role play, animals.

Any ideas greatly recieved! X

Dressing up clothes, character duvet cover, books, craft stuff.

LittleMrsPretty · 18/11/2023 21:57

What about a dolls house, there may be a pepper pig themed one, I know there is a bluey one?

Asda have some lovely traditional ones of different sizes and matching furniture.

LittleMrsPretty · 18/11/2023 22:20

Or a Tonies box they have some BF offers?

NameChange30 · 18/11/2023 23:23

Following with interest. I also have a 3yo DD, and she has an older sibling so she has a lot already. She has:
balance bike
scooter
play kitchen
yoto (recommend if your DD doesn't have one already)

She likes her older sibling's Kiddizoom camera so that could be an option?

I think it might be more suitable for 4th birthday though.

DD likes singing so I'm thinking of getting this: https://www.vtech.co.uk/product/detail/20280/Singing_Sounds_Microphone

It's not a big present though and DC1 is getting a Switch so I'm not sure what can compete! Confused

Mine is getting a camera (one that prints b&w onto thermal paper) and a FurReal pony that was reduced on Amazon earlier this year.

CelticPromise · 18/11/2023 23:31

Whatever you've picked in the biggest box just as a big bow and make a big deal of it. She doesn't know what it cost, if there's nothing special she wants put the money away for when she wants a Switch?? Or towards a trip? We have in the past made a voucher for a trip away to eg Legoland

Wrongsideofpennines · 18/11/2023 23:32

Play tent/teepee? Slide or Wendy House for the garden? One of those FurReal animal things. Or doll bundle like highchair, cot, carseat etc?

I don't think it always needs to be a big money thing though. Just something that you know they would love, whether that be a doctors set for £10 or a bike for £100.

Yoto box. 100%

michaelmasdaisies · 18/11/2023 23:45

Yoto

Mariposista · 18/11/2023 23:52

What’s wrong with something nice for 10? You don’t need massive expensive stuff

CoodleMoodle · 18/11/2023 23:52

An easel! I bought DD one from IKEA when she was 2, it has a whiteboard on one side and a blackboard on the other, and a roll of plain paper underneath.

The DC use it daily (the whiteboard, anyway)! DD is now 9, DS is 5 and it's still the most used toy in our house. The pens are rubbish but we buy packs on Amazon, loads of colours.

Cathpot · 18/11/2023 23:56

Easel is a good shout- I am a fan of anything that buys you quiet time at that age . Ours had a puppet show front - a piece of material with a hole- like a punch and Judy style thing, then a set of hand puppets. If on a budget you could make a socks puppets ‘kit’ as part of the present and then make them with her?

Aria999 · 19/11/2023 03:28

Nugget couch

hernameis · 19/11/2023 03:44

My three year old adored a tea set, loved pouring drinks for everyone!

Forgottenmypasswordagain · 19/11/2023 05:02

A doll cradle and a babydoll that looks like her.

rainbowsparkle28 · 19/11/2023 05:18

Tonie box
Dolls house
Sylvanian families
Duplo
Train set
Brio construction kit
Den making kit
Vtech Camera

CupcakeGirl1 · 19/11/2023 07:01

Oh wow! Can't believe how many of you good people have taken the time to reply to me - thank you very much indeed.

So many good ideas here. My main front runner right now is a dolls house. So many of you saying yoto/tonnie..... what's the difference? I've seen one if them in smyths catalogue.....you buy a little story to be read out in it or something?

On here the overwhelming majority seem to say Yoto is better
An easel? My little girl loves hers and buys me some peace. I have the one from the early learning centre.

NameChange30 · 19/11/2023 07:40

Yes, Yoto is better (we have both - toniebox was a gift - but much prefer the Yoto).
Yoto has more content, including podcasts, radio etc, as well as audiobooks. It has better longevity because there's content for older children. The mini is small and portable. It uses cards (credit card size) which are easier to store and transport than the Tonie figures. Yoto also has a display and can be used as a sleep/wake clock.

Flubadubba · 19/11/2023 11:42

3 is a great age for a doll if she is that way inclined.

blackbirdsinginginthenight · 19/11/2023 11:45

I thought this was a lively idea, going to make similar for my three year old but also add in some craft packs from baker Ross

Main present ideas for 3 year old girl please :)
Caspianberg · 19/11/2023 11:49

We are going to go down the tonie route for 3 year old. I think the figures he will like much more than yoyo card, and there’s lots of stories suitable for say 8 year olds still so I’m happy with longevity.
Will then give other people option the next few years of buying a Tonie for his birthday or Christmas

greymist200 · 19/11/2023 11:52

Following from ideas as in a very similar position.
I am considering the Disney princess castle, it's currently on offer on Amazon.
Love the craft tray idea, might use that for her birthday!
