Thread title inspired by the 'it's time' Christmas trend as it's now time for Christmas now halloween is over!

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

Dd2 is a gym bunny and like Under Armour or Gym Shark. Proskins do good leggings massively reduced at the moment.

Has anyone tried one of those Stoov hot water bottle things advertised everywhere at the moment? DD1 is always cold and carries a hot water bottle around everywhere.

I'm looking for earrings for a 10 yo. Quite grown up and 'trendy' I'd like to get her something cool, gosh I sound like my mother. Mine is little so not at that stage yet.
Any bargain ideas, around £30 budget

Ilovepugs2017 · 07/11/2023 20:10

For example is this likely to be a proper one?

Accessorize do some lovely sterling silver ones, about £15-£20 or next have also got some great ones! Not sure if Pandora is that price bracket but they pass the cool test.
I think the non-cool ones at that age are Claire’s Accessories basically.. weirdly I think proper jewellers are considered uncool too- H Samuel, F Hinds that kind of thing

mousegiggles1 · 07/11/2023 20:12

That one isn't a proper one, I ordered it for my step mum, but knew it wouldn't be a proper one.

mousegiggles1 · 07/11/2023 20:12

Sorry that was to @Ilovepugs2017

I’m looking for the same, and talking James! Nightmare isn’t it because EBay sellers are asking crazy money for them.

@IsThisIt2021 Smyths have talking James for half price and on 3 for 2 if that's any good??

Hi would anyone have an entertainer code going spare? I registered my girls on the jacks birthday club last year or the year before but they haven’t sent me codes this year and I can’t seem to see a way of adding another child? Does anyone know if they still do the jacks birthday club? X

Check your junk just in case.

But yes I didn't get the birthday code- I think they got wise to people adding like 8 kids for loads of codes!

Tk Maxx actually has great jewellery options- Rachel Zoe stuff is lovely. Kids seem to be v into Vivienne Westwood jewellery but I’d imagine that would be more than £30!

How do they come packaged? I know some people said they have labels off but would they be suitable for a Xmas gift? Was thinking of one for my mum but don’t want her thinking I’ve bought it second hand off eBay or something 🫣

MinecraftRose · 07/11/2023 20:20

The five pound stuff site has a navy one for £13.99 the £13.99 ones tend to be oodies/ kuddly's

I had this issue! Apparently if you’re not still signed up to their marketing emails, they don’t send the codes.
you can’t transfer the codes, unfortunately. I ended up signing up again using my husbands email and put the dob as end of November so I got the email the following day.

Luck of the draw. Some people got them in a Oodie cloth bag and some, like me, just got them in a plastic bag. Mine didn’t have a label, others you can see the remnants of a label that’s been cut out.

Bumblebeesince19 · 07/11/2023 20:23

Have you heard of Lovisa?
They have some lush jewellery and not too expensive either :)

Threeboysadogandacat · 07/11/2023 20:26

I bought 3 last Christmas and they were all real Oodies. The Avocado one, a dog one and a plain navy. The tags had been cut but were still readable. The one I bought for ds3 this year had all packaging and was, I think a huggle. It was thinner than the Oodies but was actually quite a good weight for him. I’d love the Rick and Morty one!

IsThisIt2021 · 07/11/2023 20:26

@LemonFrosting
Thank you, I did see that but it’s out of stock in every store according to their locator. I keep checking it, in the hope it comes back in but I think it’s one that is now “retired”.

Xmasgifts · 07/11/2023 20:33

Not a bargain as such, but if anyone is into Jellycat toys but not a fan of the prices, Keel & co toys really impressed me today! Bought a massive lemur which was really good value and it’s even softer than Jellycat!

Givealittlebit · 07/11/2023 20:54

@IHeartKingThistle I'd also vote for gymshark, they typically have a massive Black Friday sale where you can get bargains!

BusterGroove · 07/11/2023 20:55

Does anyone know if Zapf are going to do the Baby Annabell advent calendar for half price again this year? I can’t remember when it was discounted last year and DD wants it again, but £40 is a bit too much for me to spend!

Smileatthesmallthings · 07/11/2023 20:56

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin Facebook Marketplace has thrown up a couple of talking Gordon's for about a tenner. Sure you could ask the sellers if they'd post.

ZiggyZigAh · 07/11/2023 21:04

Does anyone have a John Lewis discount code?
