Hi! I know it's a long shot but does anyone's Aldi still have any decent stock of the children's wooden toys? Been trying since Thursday to get stuff for DS but it seems everything I'm after is gone 😩

@FlibbidyFloob what is it you're after? In ours on Friday they still had the normal, frozen and vegan grocery sets. Quite a few of the toolbelt type things and some of the suitcases for home workers etc. I will be going in tomorrow

After the caterpillar cake, the doughnut bakery set, car ramp racer and chicken nugget set. I really didn't think they'd be so popular, I thought most people would be going after the bigger things! I did have a little looksie on marketplace, vinted and eBay and the prices they're going for are absolutely shocking!

I'll be at Aldi in the next hour. I'll update if there is anything. Sainsburys will be this after for Lego and Megaladons. I think I'm having more fun hunting for other people than for my own gifts 😂

I did see a few doughnut sets on Friday. I know there are no caterpillar cakes as I wanted one! I got the strawberry cake instead which was the last one!

I did a silent yes under my breath this morning when DS said he wanted to put both the Vtech marble rush and the Hot Wheels chomper on his Christmas list. Both already purchased at bargain prices!

www.bohomoon.com have the £10 pound best sellers sale on. I wouldn't say they're the best quality but my 15 dd loves the earring from them and I normally buy the £15 goodies, you get 3 pairs of earrings.

There were some cute sleepover bags on the monsoon website! Then you could fill it with cute things like pj's, sweets, a soft toy etc. Accessorise have a sale on so you might find some of it reduced there, or there is 15% off monsoon when you sign up to the newsletter.

@NNat just my opinion but I don't think sheepskin hot water bottle covers are the best-dh bought me the white company one last year or year before. It fees lovely by itself but it's sort of sweaty or something when the hot water bottle is full. I think because sheepskin is temperature regulating it doesn't work so well.
