Double whammy in the post today from xs stock
Bargains for kids stockings:
playdough 1.99, paint 2.99 and toddler markers 3.99.
And a voucher: £75 to spend at naked wines. I imagine you’ll only be able to use it once so I won’t post it here. Please pm if you’d like it.

I've just got back from Sainsbury's, I got a set of 6 my little ponies that said £12.50 but went through at £7.50 and the cool make kumi kreator bracelet set which should have been £20 also went through at £7.50.

I managed to get most of the kids toys in the family that I needed so happy with that!

DD12 has just mentioned that she might quite like some uggs for Christmas. Really don’t fancy paying those prices though, anyone know of any cheaper alternatives that may be acceptable to an almost teenager please?

Have a look on secret sales. My sister got some Aussie ones down to £50.

gawditswindy · 23/10/2023 17:08

Thanks @ChristmasJumperz, that's cute.

Spidersis · 23/10/2023 17:09

Just saw that there are lots of face and body gift sets half price at tesco with cubcard, some really good deals, worth a look!

2anddone · 23/10/2023 17:12

Don't know if it's already been posted but Oodies have a large selection on their website for £39 in their sale at the moment. Are they better than the primark ones please? If so I will consider getting a couple.

I do, I think - a 20% one that runs out on Wednesday. Is that what you are looking for @Mytribeof3 ?

WhatICallMyUsername · 23/10/2023 17:44

My earlier planned trip to Aldi was delayed by a poorly DC so will be going around 7pm now. Bit optimistic but is anyone still looking for anything?!

winewolfhowls · 23/10/2023 17:45

Just been to look at the Primark oodies, in ours not much choice of designs (only 4 in the boys area) and they didn't seem all that thick.girls ones seemed nicer, I think I saw a lovely Bambi one
I know mine will muck them up and need a lot of washing so I might go more expensive.

winewolfhowls · 23/10/2023 17:48

TK MAXX had some good bargains in, including this massive gun thing and loads of games. Didn't get a picture but Ticket to Ride London was about £12. ( don't know if they get the same stock everywhere). Lego advent calendar was £8.

Just got the puppy's home for £20 at Sains. Mainly those left, mixie lanterns and bluey kitchens. Think some gabbys dollhouse stuff too. Was q a good paw patrol set for £10 I nearly got but we have so much!

Favouritefruits · 23/10/2023 17:58

@winewolfhowls that dino gun is even cheaper £10 in Smyths atm!

SpottyBumPony · 23/10/2023 18:01

Coffee Advent calendar

I haven't ordered from here before but this looks good, with the extra pods I added it comes to about £0.60 a pod. More than supermarkets but compostable pods and 55 will last me for ages. Free tin and candle

Babynumberthreeee · 23/10/2023 18:36

@Georgieporgie29 what shoe size and colour would she like?

Georgieporgie29 · 23/10/2023 18:38

I think probably an adult 5 (she’s 4.5 but they don’t do halves) and brown

Georgieporgie29 · 23/10/2023 18:39

@Babynumberthreeee sorry that was for you but I don’t seem to be able to quote anymore

DeathStarCanteenGal · 23/10/2023 18:40

Lisa Angel has 20% of jewellery and jewellery storage when you spend £20, with code GET20. runs for this week, apparently

Hotel Chocolat have released their Velvetiser Advent Calendar today. Love the idea but I’m a bit surprised by the price….£45 for 24 sachets……Their 10 sachet selection boxes are £14.50 so £1.45 per sachet ( the single flavour boxes are only £1.30 per sachet) Seems a bit cheeky to be charging £10 extra for a bit of cardboard 😏 Maybe it’s just me being grumpy!

I must be getting old, I can't find this on their website - have looked in the advent calendar, the velvetiser section, and the hot chocolate section. Could you provide a link please?

NoWordForFluffy · 23/10/2023 18:57

1L Bailey's is on Nectar Prices at £13 until Halloween. Matching Tesco, I think?

Still no sightings of wooden food or a megaladon. Had a rather amusing conversation with DDad where he rang from the Sainsburys to ask what I was looking for, also asked if it was for DS and could they get him it for Christmas. He sounded very confused when I said it wasn't for DS but we were looking on behalf of the Mumsnet bargain hunters. He said he couldn't complain after I got him some bargain turtle doves last year for DMum 😂
