Also Disney has 20% off with code MINNIE20 when you spend £60 plus Topcashback I would think :)

Thanks, good idea although I wouldn't want to put anyone out...it's in newcastle, Sheffield, Coventry, Leeds, Birmingham and Bromley I think, I'm down in the south 🙁 Mermaid cushion

The closest to me is 60 odd miles away but I hope someone else can help!

FireandBrimstone · 11/10/2023 20:26

Notino are promoting 20% off Proctor and Gamble brands with code combi20.
Maybe not very gifty (though it includes some electric toothbrushes) but sharing in case there are any items of interest.

SgtCatherineCawood · 11/10/2023 20:26

That's annoying @peasando

I've also just realised I haven't had a confirmation email when I signed up on Sunday!

Ginny26 · 11/10/2023 20:43

@Mrscouldron try home bargains, seen them for £36

Ladybaga · 11/10/2023 20:48

Does anyone know if the Kinetic Sand Dino Xplorer on Smyths ever goes cheaper than £29.99? There's something else I can buy to make it up to £50 to get the £6 off but dont want to if its going to get reduced anyway!

peasando · 11/10/2023 19:49

So annoyed, signed up for the radio times offer yesterday and then got an email today:

Thank you for taking out a trial subscription to Radio Times Magazine.
We promote trial subscriptions to give our customers an opportunity to try a new magazine before they commit to a long-term subscription.
As you have recently benefited from a similar offer to one of our magazines, we are unable to offer you this trial rate. Instead we would like to offer you the special price of £29.99 every 3 months.

Gutted! Obviously tried immediately to sign up with DH's details but they seem to have stopped the offer completely now 😫

I had the same thing myself, but they had actually sent me an offer in the post for 12 issues for £1. So they actively reached out to me with an offer, then once I’d signed up they took it away!

Has anyone seen any of the big Magic Mixies at a reasonable price? My daughter has asked for one and the price seems to be £70.

Sainsburys and Argos have them £45

I can get into Newcastle probably tomorrow or if not, on Saturday - would that be any use?

GettingOldWithoutStyle · 11/10/2023 20:59

@AliasGraceful wow, that would be amazing if you could look if you are going there anyway? 🙏

superstar84 · 11/10/2023 21:28

I’ve got a lost toy that I’m trying to replace

if anyone is in Cambridge or the metro centre I’d be so so so grateful if they could look in miniso?

I’ve rung so many stores today and they won’t let me pay over the phone and it’s not on their website

it’s £7 and would be about £5 to post I think which id completely cover

its so cheeky I know but she left it on a train and has been really upset so I’m trying to replace it

Borris · 11/10/2023 22:07

@evtheria thanks. Just ordered tenzi. Dd and I played it earlier this year when visiting friends and so she'll be delighted to have her own set. 😊

hby9628 · 11/10/2023 22:10

@GettingOldWithoutStyle I know it's not on the list as having in stock but I'm heading to the Primark at the Trafford centre on fri so will check there

Bsgetty · 11/10/2023 22:11

@whereareyousleep
The drawing tablet is just a controller, kind of like having a pen shaped mouse, so you can use it with any drawing software you want. We use Krita, it’s really good and crucially it’s open source software, so completely free (the Adobe ones are great but really expensive).

Krita

Krita is a professional FREE and open source painting program. It is made by artists that want to see affordable art tools for everyone.

Georgieporgie29 · 11/10/2023 22:17

Claire’s accessories have a sale on, lots of items reduced by 50% and there is an extra code of an additional 20% off SUPER20
also, don’t forget topcashback
free delivery over £25 or over £20 if you join the club (I suggest you do this first as I had a struggle getting the free delivery applied afterwards)

LostMyRubySlippers · 11/10/2023 22:18

Hobbycraft have an offer of half price on all jigsaws. Plus they still have the £5 voucher for downloading their app.

They also have glass mason jars reduced to 50p each, although stock is variable. Just ordered 10 to fill with sweets & use instead of party bags for DD’s bday (May also try to personalise them if feeling creative!)

Which toy is it? I’m in London but can go in on Saturday and take a look if you let me know what it is?

Are those the only two stores that definitely have the toy? I am near a couple of london branches and could pop in for you...wandsworth and shaftesbury ave if they have it?

Do you have a picture by any chance?

Talisin · 11/10/2023 22:34

@superstar84 There’s a miniso across the road from my workplace. I’m happy to check there tomorrow if you let me know what the toy is - photo would be helpful if possible!

superstar84 · 12/10/2023 05:40

Thanks so much. It’s a frog called windy lying down, its pale green and £7

superstar84 · 12/10/2023 05:42

I’m so grateful to everyone for trying to help!

I have tried Nottingham and Leeds who definitely don’t have it in but the other stores are really far from us

They sell 4 different frogs (an avocado, pineapple, pink & lying down) but it’s definitely called Windy lying down frog

Right. I can hop over to the shop at lunchtime for a spot of frog hunting 🐸

superstar84 · 12/10/2023 05:56
