It's forecast to be below 20 degrees today, for the first time in about 3 weeks, and I'm not sure how I feel about that! The garden/allotment has definitely approved of the rain though. Or the weeds have at least 😂

I got home around 11 last night, yes. And they did feed me. I had a tuna sandwich with salad on the side. I also had lots of tea, water, biscuits and a hot chocolate!

It's quite cool here today - I actually had to grab a cardigan for the first time in weeks.

Things are kind of calming down here but still not enough for me to stop feeling stressed.
I do have 2 evenings off though - watching a show tonight and our for a meal tomorrow evening.

My garden is going well I think - potatoes and sweet peas are flowering and I have some actual tomatoes on my plants now
Peppers have been a bust though - no way they're going to get big enough to produce anything given their tiny size right now.

I've never succeeded with peppers, Crazy. I gave up after 2 years of teeny rubbish ones.

I'm OK. Better than last time, thankfully. Keeping up with the pain meds.

I'm glad things are calming. Hopefully they improve further.

I have many baby tomatoes too. Might go into business when they ripen! 🤣

It's my allotment/housework day today. Going to finally put my squash plants and beans in for the three sisters arrangement, although the corn is only about 6 inches tall so not sure how that will go.

Then I need to sort laundry and get DS's stuff together for Scout camp this weekend and I'm hoping to sort the baby stuff in the loft to do a car boot/jumble sale next month and just get some space up there!!

I gave up with squash as they never seemed to get going quickly enough so couldn't ripen before the weather cools. I do have some baby pumpkins though and sodding courgettes.

My sweetcorn is finally coming good. It took its time though.

Well, I'm alive! Lots of pain and I'm very tired. The joys of general anaesthetic!

I'm sure it'll improve.

Lots of rest to recuperate , I find general anaesthetic absolutely wipes the floor with me !

Actually Crazy we are already over halfway there 😳 I am such a numpty - you wouldn't believe I used to work with numbers for a living 😂. It was halfway between days 182 and 183.

Fluffy how are the painkillers? I'd be off my tits by now - I don't react well to anything morphine based, or any of the stuff you've been taking before your op. When can we all get you virtually drunk? 🍻

The painkillers are sending me a bit wappy, Puss, but I need them as it really, really hurts! 😭😭

The codeine has had the usual codeine effect on me. Not good!

I was also given Nafopam which is a new one on me. They can turn your wee pink (not noticed this) and you can't drink on them. #cheapestdateinEngland 🤣🤣

Wednesday was a moderate success Crazy. I managed to offload 4 bags of older age clothes to my DSis for DNs, and can now reach the baby clothes to start sorting for jumble sale/car boot. I had been saving them for my DCousin but she's having fertility issues and may never conceive. I'll keep the cot/baby bath/bouncer etc for her, but think it's time to accept the baby clothes need to go to a new home. Part of me feels really guilty, though, as if by getting rid I'm not being supportive 😞
