Does anyone know if you can use blue light discount on computer games in Asda?

@Georgieporgie29 yes you can!!
I’ve used mine several times over the last few weeks

CornishGem1975 · 08/12/2022 13:18

Went to M&S on my lunch break so picked up my free Percy Pigs, they can go in someone's stocking and used the £1 off the lantern and that will go in in-laws gift. Also managed to get a few other stocking fillers, a pile of selection boxes and a jumper for my DH.

I've still loads to get yet, I am normally far more organised!

HoneyPea · 08/12/2022 13:36

Sorry to mention them again but For anyone who has tried to use SG voucher and not been able to I have had a reply saying "The vouchers are for use in the new year as per the email explaining the cancellation"

Sisisimone · 08/12/2022 13:41

Needtostartover · 08/12/2022 13:12

Just had an email saying refund processed by SG (last time I will mention them 😉)

Did you request this or just get it automatically?

Summertime16 · 08/12/2022 13:42

had my £3.99 refund from SG also, I emailed them last night requesting a refund as it was a gift.

dramalamma · 08/12/2022 14:12

aargh was going to give the smashed grapes vouchers as gifts instead of the tasting kits but I can't if they don't work until January.... - don't mind paying more as I know it it was a super bargain so now I've got to buy for two couples in their 30s.... one couple with two young kids who will like anything and one couple with no kids, vegetarian and very environmentally conscious who are more discerning..... budget about £30 per couple - any ideas??

dramalamma · 08/12/2022 14:20

Does anyone remember the name of those scrunch up reusable shopping bags with the pocket in the middle? We all bought them a few years back but mine don't seem to have any labels on them and googling isn't helping. thank you!

It was Mia Tui - think it was the Sue shopper bag but it doesn't seem like they make them anymore

Thank you @Squ1ggle that was it! I couldn't remember - such a shame they don't do them any more.

Well, weirdly I ordered 2 of the elusive dairy milk about 3 weeks ago. Arrived fine. Just received another 🤷🏻‍♀️

20% off Jaegar wasn't what I was hoping for my birthday today 🤣.

They have so much of my data ...
You would have thought they could have given me free GIN today!

My birthday too!

@ClaraTheImpossibleGirl. For creams I would recommend my trusty - the original sunflower oil version (not keen on lavender). It was developed by NHS in sailsbury for people with dermatitis and psoriasis, however, I used it on my radiotherapy ravaged skin and it's brilliant. the hand cream is also great, not so sure about the skin and body oil. Also, if you buy direct you are supporting the NHS 😁mytrustyskincare.co.uk/product/my-trusty-sunflower-body-lotion-fragrance-free-250ml/?gclid=CjwKCAiAs8acBhA1EiwAgRFdw7Syzxqnm1Au7HUkuhEZGcUg7_NM4D0-bLG517f8S-YAImqf7AKiuxoCxpgQAvD_BwE

I have a 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl to buy for this year £50 budget each. Any ideas on what’s currently in fashion? Especially for the boy. I have older teen girls so no idea!

Can anyone recommend a company for pre made cocktails please?

This might not be helpful because they're for xmas so I've not tasted them to recommend!! But I bought some miniature cocktails by Edmunds off the Lisa Angel website. I had a look at Edmunds own website, which also has larger bottles, but the Lisa Angel one is free delivery on £15 spend. Each cocktail was £6 (or personalised bottle was extra). They look nice anyway!

Smileatthesmallthings · 08/12/2022 16:33

I've been asked for giant hooped earrings - like 10cm diameter! Any idea where I can get some decent ones that look suitable for a gift and aren't going to turn her ears green?!

Irritatedmum · 08/12/2022 16:45

My 6 year old wants a furby cos her older sister has one… they don’t sell them any more. Does anyone know of anything similar that would satisfy her??

user143677433 · 08/12/2022 17:05

Is the free bracelet offer the best offer on pandora?
Seems to be 10% off also for creating an account.

Recipient wants an O pendant which is £55 but I might bump it up to the £100 to get the bracelet.

Does it have to be an electronic one?

cheaper for plush

Needtostartover · 08/12/2022 17:21

@Sisisimone I emailed them yesterday saying I was happy to return/not use the voucher and would rather just have a refund.

I would go with lego for both. The boy if you know he likes superheroes, jurassic world or Harry potter there's a few ranges or if not the city sets or the 3 in 1 are great.

For the 5 year old there's a juniors range which is a little easier/simpler. I think there might be lego friends and disney princess in that range.

Alternatively my girls love squishmallows for laying on and using in their room and on the sofa. You can get a big one for that price. Or mine loved a build a bear if you could take them?

Maybe a board game? Hard to know if they already have it though!

There's a few furreal toys? Or my dd loved a hatchimals lalacorn a few years ago. We also have a promise pets but that was a little disappointing for the rrp! Or maybe see if you can get a second hand furby, I often see them in charity shops and on vinted!
