Thanks @Robstersgirl for the title. Wonder if it was the thread that did it!

Was it this thread where someone was after ideas for a child who wanted railway timetables?

not a bargain but John Lewis are selling Gibson’s London Underground themed board games & jigsaw puzzles.

CrabbitBastard · 26/11/2022 11:45

Any dressing gown deals? DM wants a new one for xmas. Long and cosy and not white are the instructions.

roosterroo · 26/11/2022 11:46

Next have the bath and bodywork on offer, 4 for 2. It's a little hidden

Serenitesanta · 26/11/2022 00:01

Yes!! That’s what I meant.
I bought the ones recommended on here earlier but I’m not sure what would be needed for DC to use them.
Thanks very much

I was sure my daughter said she had a special ‘non bleed’ paper pad for these but I checked and it’s for different markers (she has every art material on the earth 😅).

I did however find lots of good info here:
www.posca.com/en/support/

if you have a look through the faq section there’s lots of ideas and maybe you could get some of the suggested materials you think your dad might like!

Sorry not to have been more helpful, I was convinced the marker paper was for them 😊

I got from PenrhalltAlpacas on Esty @Cuwins after it was recommended on a thread.

Thank you. I knew someone would know!

BadgerFace · 26/11/2022 11:56

Not quite as amazing as the summer 85% off but Thift+ have some discounts currently.

2023willbegreat · 26/11/2022 11:58

@Fuckingfuckssake , there’s no Snag code that I know of. Only the Mystery Bags are in the offer. The 10% off works automatically when you add 3+ bags.

BloodyMabel · 26/11/2022 11:58

MarshmallowsOnToast · 26/11/2022 11:25

Gah! dunelm never seem to do any decent discount codes or offers. Been waiting for ages & might just have to bite the bullet 😤

I always use these free voucher offers for dunelm although they are on the cashback sites too.

2023willbegreat · 26/11/2022 12:03

@LetterfromHermione You can check what ‘s in your Snag order by clicking on “View your order” in your emailed order confirmation.

When you do, click on “Show order summary” at the top of the page it takes you to.

I haven't checked today but there were loads on HotUKDeals yesterday, I think mainly Debenhams.

Also, not a bargain but I was asking the other day about dressing gowns for tall, skinny DS - found this site which gets good reviews and has lots of other stuff too for the beanpole in your life: www.2tall.com/gifts

newroundhere · 26/11/2022 12:15

I need to buy something for my sister in law who is travelling over from the US for Christmas and I need some inspiration....

Gift needs to be packable (small/light/not fragile), she's in to eco friendly/local things.

Any ideas welcome, budget £30-50

LemonFrosting · 26/11/2022 12:16

Are justmylook genuine? I'm after mont blanc explorer 100ml and that seems cheapest at £50. I just haven't heard of the site before.

2023willbegreat · 26/11/2022 12:17

@PissedOffNeighbour22 , you say 3/6 pairs of your Snag tights are white. Were they in the “Pastel” option?

I can’t find it now, but somewhere on their website it tells you how to dye tights. It’s very easy. You might end up with black Care Bears, though.

On their Facebook page it says all their tights start out white and then they dye them.

Do you have a local farm shop or a local crafts market? Sounds like something from one of those might fit the bill.

I had the same issue. I think they are genuine but the trust pilot reviews weren’t great so I dodged them. I ended up getting mine from escentual. I can see it’s currently £63 on their site but they have a code for 10% off BLACK10 site wide and it tracked and is already payable through topcashback. I know it’s not quite as cheap but my order arrived straight away so can recommend them. (I haven’t looked elsewhere for yours so there may be better bargains elsewhere)

newroundhere · 26/11/2022 12:28

Thanks @Withholdingvitalinfo - that's the sort of thing but I'm not sure I'll be able to get out somewhere like that in real life so hoping to find some online options!

Maybe try Etsy for your area? Or local Facebook page - ask if anyone local has gifts for sale? Our farm shop has a website so you can buy online.

nicky2512 · 26/11/2022 12:35

@roosterroo Thank you so much for the bath and body works tip off! I treated my mum to some soap a few weeks ago and she loved it so was able to get her some more.

Bezzi · 26/11/2022 12:39

I skipped through the chat about heated blankets/throws and now I've decided I need one 😬
Does anyone remember any bargains please or recommendations?
Thank you.

As a side note I got the dairy milk when I couldn't sleep this morning about 3am 🥳
I don't even need one, I just couldn't back down from the challenge 🤣

You are a star thank you!!! Just got the 100ml gift set as it works out better value, thank you for this @Georgieporgie29

Blessedbethefruitz · 26/11/2022 12:41

Might have missed this, sorry if so. All plush toys are half price at Claires including squishmallows, and it stacks with buy 3 get 3 free.

Oh I’m really glad you got sorted 🎄

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 26/11/2022 12:50

@2023willbegreat I ordered pastel and goth. Wanted classics or brights but both sold out :(
I mainly want to see if I've got the right size as I've never ordered from them before. I got a couple of pairs of the chub rub shorts too.

Dying them is a good idea, thanks. Or maybe I just need to develop the confidence to strut around with yellow carebear covered legs 😂.

Mama1980 · 26/11/2022 12:50

If anyone has MLP or care bear snag tights they don't want I have an adult dd who would love some, I'd be happy to buy them off you.
