What would you get a 9 month old baby

My daughter will be 9 months at Christmas. What did you buy your babies for Christmas?
I am aware she will have no idea but I feel like I need to get her something. Did you bother for your child’s first Christmas?

Thank you for the suggestion.
my son is 4 and I’m thinking she can play with his toys that he had when he was a baby and that it’s silly to buy new. I just wanted to get her something to open but like you say, she really won’t know. Might as well have a cheaper Christmas before she’s older and asking for everything 😂

You could wrap some of your son's toys - get him in on it so he knows what you are giving her. I hadn't realised you had an older one, so maybe it is important that he sees she has presents to open too. Maybe tell him Santa encourages big brothers to pass on toys?
I'd personally still buy one new thing for her . If she has enough toys, what about a picture for her room?

A Christmas outfit for both. I knew they would grow out of it quickly, but I wanted some nice photos. And one toy for each. DS a pull-along dog toy, DD a plastic "piano" for tiny kids. No point spending lots unless it is something you would get them anyway.
