Nothing.

WeRTheOnesWeHaveBeenWaitingFor · 10/12/2021 07:13

Cheese and posh bottle of port?
Or just agree not to do presents this year.

WakeUpLockie · 10/12/2021 07:14

Nothing
Diptyque candle if you really like them
Alcohol

Noeuf · 10/12/2021 07:17

Ask them what they’d like to drink ?

AppleKatie · 10/12/2021 07:19

Vouchers

NoSquirrels · 10/12/2021 07:20

A charity gift related to their interests. What are their interests?

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 10/12/2021 07:22

Nice biscuits or chocolate

SSOYS · 10/12/2021 07:22

A bottle of something, although from the tone of your post you don’t sound very keen on them so maybe nothing.

Scarby9 · 10/12/2021 07:24

Food, drink or voucher.

Chunkymenrock · 10/12/2021 07:24

Definitely agree no presents this year.

WashableVelvet · 10/12/2021 07:27

Home made biscuits

mnahmnah · 10/12/2021 07:30

Tickets for an event. Theatre. Cinema. Food festival.

Vampiricouncil · 10/12/2021 07:30

They have a cupboard full of untouched alcohol, extremely fussy eaters.
They do like M&S food though so I could get them a voucher to choose their own!

They ALWAYS get us lovely gifts and have already delivered bags of gifts so I have to get them something!!

Their favourite tipple sounds the obvious one.

FreeBritnee · 10/12/2021 07:31

I wouldn’t get a voucher as it will probably be unused. Just go into M&S and find something decadent.

PermanentTemporary · 10/12/2021 07:31

M&S voucher sounds ideal. Bunch of Christmassy flowers? It's a surprisingly nice thing to have at this time of year.

coodawoodashooda · 10/12/2021 07:32

Biscuiteers delivery or Donald Russell butcher.

thenewduchessofhastings · 10/12/2021 07:39

Sponsor a toilet or well abroad on their behalf.

Underkill · 10/12/2021 07:41

Nothing. Or if you must vouchers.

Bunce1 · 10/12/2021 07:46

What’s your budget?

Plant?
Theatre tickets? I can recommend the old vics production of wuthering heights. It’s touring and it’s incredible.
Cashmere wrist warmers
Really good knife.

Gatehouse77 · 10/12/2021 08:00

I'd go with a voucher for an experience.

Afternoon tea somewhere different.
Theatre local to them.
Any bands or comedians they'd like?

Would they appreciate something homemade?
Framed photo of an event or people they know?

Bunce1 · 10/12/2021 08:15

Painting of their house/dog?

MrsLargeEmbodied · 10/12/2021 08:23

house plant or garden plant

haba · 10/12/2021 08:39

Something edible, definitely. Lovely food- even if they have everything in for Christmas, they can enjoy it through cold dark January.

Borracha · 10/12/2021 09:00

A bottle of champagne? Even if they don't drink it themselves, it's a 'useful' thing to have in the house, especially at this time of year.
