ROFL at "food parcel"

Why don't you just go to Aldi and buy some of their italian type range and stick it in a poundstretcher wicker basket.

1dilemma · 21/11/2007 23:30

calandar with photos of your dcs in

put together wine bits like stoppers, cooler thing you keep in fridge and a wine book with a bottle or two

but the oxfam toilet wins!

moondog · 21/11/2007 23:30

I think the champagne MMJ linked to is good too

ps gigglewitch's idea is also very good - aren't you a cake-baker anyway MamaG?

RosaLuxMundi · 22/11/2007 00:05

They are not your parents. So let your DH deal with it. Well that's what I do

smartiejake · 22/11/2007 07:14

Let DH sort it out. They are his parents.

MamaG · 22/11/2007 10:34

Yes, MMJ thats great, but I didn't want to spend that much on the ungrateful fuckers old dears.

Yes, def. I think something they can eat/drink that isn't a food parcel(!) would be great for them

M&S
BHS
Next
Boots
Woolies
Argos (lolol)
etc

[hopeful]

don't know if it helps but my sucky-uppy gift to the FIL this year will be one of these

or yes give them something really cheap and nasty which they will enjoy complaining about to their poncey friends for months to come. (I'm assuming they have poncey friends)

MamaG · 22/11/2007 10:55

thanks bees

LMAO

OMG I can't breathe!!! THats a mental image I soooo don't need

SIL once bought MIL some nice smellies, including Barefoot Doctor (ist hat right?) orgasmic foot lotion - mIL "oh its organic"

me and SIL shook with silent hysteria

OK OK Hoiw about this:-

The DC have had their first school photo done together. I could put one in a nice frame (they have a lot of framed family photos on their drinks cabinet) and give with a bottle of something alcoholic/chocs/home made cake (delete as applicable)
