It's gotta be this one! It's fab and it reminds me of home alone.

spokette · 20/11/2007 14:22

Pop - Driving home for Christams by Chris Rea

Carol - Oh Holy Night by Nat King Cole - gives me goose pimples everytime I hear it.

Hennipenniinapeartree · 20/11/2007 14:31

Pogues and kirsty Mcoll but if I'm drunk it just has to be all I want for christmas.

Favourite carol has to be " Oh come all ye faithfull"

flatmouse · 20/11/2007 14:36

SO many i like - can't wait til 1 December to start playing my CDs - trad and pop alike

One of my favourites has to be "Christmas Wrapping" by "the Waitresses" (and yes, i had to go and look on the CD case to find out what it was called and who it was by!)

Hennipenniinapeartree · 20/11/2007 14:37

Flatmouse, why wait 'til Dec1? I'm currently listening to them on yuoutube

MerryAnnSinglemas · 20/11/2007 14:39

flatmouse · 20/11/2007 14:39

Well i suppose i could listen to them when i'm wfh - oooh or put them on my ipod - how exciting hadn't thought of on my ipod!! But think DH would walk out in disgust if he "had to put up with listening to them" (scrooge!!)

Kbear · 20/11/2007 14:41

Am I the only emotional wreck on here that gets a lump in my throat at Christmas songs? Just heard Fairtale of NY on the radio and it fills me up I have no idea why.

Hennipenniinapeartree · 20/11/2007 14:42

My DH says the same but as I work wfh I can listen to what I like! (not working now hence mnnetting)

flatmouse · 20/11/2007 14:44

thanks for the link - i enjoyed listening to that!!

turquoise · 20/11/2007 14:44

Fairy tale of NY.

Quite like Santa Baby too and Last Christmas. Also the origianl Feed the World makes me all cheesy and sentimental.

pirategirl · 20/11/2007 14:45

kbear, me too, am a pathetic glut for a weep atm!!

Kbear · 20/11/2007 14:47

....and carols, don't start me off there. I can't sing them. I have to mime. It's like a carol-phobia LOL. I go to sing and I feel the lump in my throat and I can't. And I love carols and everything Christmas. Away in a Manger tips me over the edge.

Analyse THAT!

pirategirl · 20/11/2007 14:47

simply having a wonderful christmas times by macca, brings back good memories when I was a kid and xmas was all about me me me!!!!!!

MerryAnnSinglemas · 20/11/2007 14:48

ds loves Santa Baby
I have a cassette I made a million years ago which I bring out every year to play - I recorded it from the radio and there's a bit where it has interference from when my mum was hoovering, which adds to the nostalgia !

pirategirl · 20/11/2007 14:48

Hennipenniinapeartree · 20/11/2007 14:48
