Dont know if you "do" Matalan Cod but they have photography sets in atm.
£5 and you get an album, a camera and a film.

Boots have 3D bubble baths in for a fiver too.
All sorts of different characters.

OliviaMumsnet · 18/11/2007 15:44

There are more ideas here
Including playing cards which are useful to have about the house.

captainmummy · 18/11/2007 15:53

If you're going on I want one of those - you should look at the racing grannies...like a mini scalextric rcaetrack with little old ladies with zimmerframes - but they take batteries. They are a scream tho.

ernest · 18/11/2007 15:55

saltireflyingatHampden please please please tell me where you got the pooing reindeer from

Blandmum · 18/11/2007 15:57

they are selling them in hawkins bazzar (and lots of other places)

ernest · 18/11/2007 16:19

oh ta. Have a feeling a couple of reindeer and sheep will be on their way to us

janeite · 18/11/2007 17:06

Playing cards, cricket balls, tennis balls - all v good ideas.

I only have girls but things they have had in the past that boys may also like are:

  • sharks tooth necklaces
  • fortune fish from Hakins Bazaar
  • grow your own crystals / mini christmas tree / fly eating plant etc sets
  • bags of dried mango, which is always seen as a big treat
  • bubbles
  • kalaidoscopes (sp?)
  • origami paper
ssd · 18/11/2007 17:18

pooing reindeers at Accessorize, also etch a sketch pens £5, lots of good stocking fillers altho' mainly for girls

ChippyMinton · 18/11/2007 18:16

I saw some reindeer that you fill wit hchocolate jelly beasn, they poo them out when you lift their tail. Likely to provole boy-ish hiysterics. Twas in Bhs i think.
