I always put one of those expandable flannels in - boots usually do them, M&S sometimes, Disney Store.

Buda · 18/11/2007 12:34

I started a thread about stocking fillers last week here - you might get some ideas. I thought the comic might be a good one for you and the disposable camera idea.

I have now started and have bought a pen that is also a racing car, a stretchy dinosaur and will get the CD of High School Musical 2 as DS loves HSM 1. Am sure I bought some other bits but can't remember what. Oh and have seen a Lego watch that I will get next week.

Elphaba · 18/11/2007 12:37

Ds1 watched HSM with me last week (dh was away and I let him stay up with me for compnay!) - is it not a bit naff for boys though?!

Buda · 18/11/2007 12:40

Maybe Elphaba but my wannabe rock star 6yr old loves it!

CodDickinson · 18/11/2007 12:40

Yes suppose it would be a bit exp for 3.

Buda · 18/11/2007 12:45

What about those travel versions of games? Bought DS magnetic snakes and ladders one year and it still comes out whenever we are on a plane which with our lifestyle is often!

CodDickinson · 18/11/2007 12:46

How about 1 of those tooth brushes that play music for 2 minutes for the 4 years old??

GrapefruitMoon · 18/11/2007 12:53

You can get little mini Transformers for £2.99. I'm getting my ds's one of those and then sweets/socks/bath stuff for their stockings. Hate plastic tat too - though I was tempted by the recent opening of a Hawkins Bazaar near me and remembered you and others enthusing about it in the past - but have resisted...

M&S have cute snowmen bath bombs at the mo, 4 for £5 - in their 3 for 2 Christmas section. Snowman bubble bath too.

GrapefruitMoon · 18/11/2007 12:54

Oh and someone recommended glow-sticks recently (or was that you?)

cremolafoam · 18/11/2007 12:55

ScoobyDoo · 18/11/2007 13:10

Quick hijack - What are those trainers called with wheels? ds wants to see them?

GrapefruitMoon · 18/11/2007 13:11

Heelies - won't fit in a stocking though lol!

ScoobyDoo · 18/11/2007 13:12

He he no not for stocking ds saw some girl out yesterday on them & was very confused.

Thanks for that

SoupDragon · 18/11/2007 13:16

A tube of that stuff that turns into snow when you add water.

That'll p*ss you off by Christmas lunch so won't be hanging about all year.

SoupDragon · 18/11/2007 13:17

I think Hawkins had a book called "Immature Practical Jokes" You'd be p*ssed off by that fairly early on too.

I've bought it for my 42yo brother.

Elphaba · 18/11/2007 13:40

LIke the mini transformers ideas - where are they from?
