Come one, come all it is time once again for the Christmas bargain prequel thread for 2021!

Thanks @BonnyBunny I have now ordered another snowman and a dog, one for each boy. Didn't think I'd be quite a sheep in May but nevermind! If my boys don't want them I will have them I'm going to give them one each on Christmas eve to snuggle and watch the film together 😍 excited already.

My two love their Snowdog / Snowman soft toy combination! I even went to BaB in Liverpool for opening time on about 22 Dec to get a BaB Snowman for DD when I realised she'd be gutted that DS had one and she didn't. I'm an idiot! 😂😂

Mine always have a cuddly toy in their stockings.

I think you're all right, I need to embrace the little things while they are little. Best bit of advice I've had is to not move them along the 'toy timeline' too quickly. I'm definitely loving the playmobil range atm. I have found some more bargains so I will post some links

I’d highly recommend the playmobil bus. I bought one when DD was a toddler and we’ve had more than 5 years play out of it with two children. A bargain at that price! Good spot @ItsAllBlahBlahBlah!

I want one of those.com has 5 gifts for £10. Usually 8 or 9 pounds each.

Loads of official Magformers (which is rarely reduced) deals 40-50% off on Amazon, the 30 piece set is usually £25+ and is now £16.56, and the transforming wheel set is about £11 instead of double that.

I know you can get cheaper copycat brands but as those are cheap plastic and magnets I wouldn't risk getting anything except Magformers.

Thank you! I bought these two sets for my boy who will be nearly 4 at Christmas. I e never seen this in real life but I know it's always recommended on Mumsnet as a great gift. I'm wondering if I need to but one of the normal sets to go with it though? I'm hoping he likes it and it doesn't end up like the mega blocks.....bought loads and he's not interested in it!

Magformers is a great toy, definitely recommend for 3-6 years(my older ones will still occasionally play with it too).

Some Brainbox games are reduced the £4-6 on Amazon and Orchard Toys First Times Tables game is down to £4.45.

For teens and adults some of the Thames and Kosmos escape room games are also reduced on Amazon. We did some during lockdown and enjoyed them.

Winter morning Wax Lyrical candle down to £3.98 at Amazon. I think these were the 'nice ones' we all got last year that came in the nice box but hopefully someone else can confirm!
