Like the title suggests, we have a few nice food treats, individually wrapped pants haha and some skin coloured high lighters but what else for girls that your trying to stay away from things to do with appearance?

(Their stockings are proper stockings (not sacks) so restricted to size, a paper back would be a push!!! Grin

Girls are 12 & 14

Bath bomb? Lush do some ones for sensitive skin as I'm sure other places do. Hair mask? More about a pamper than appearance I'd say.

I've got mine some fluffy socks, a book (railway children-one of my faves) and some cheap knock off air pods (about £15). Usually also put in a choc orange.

Jumbojem · 29/11/2020 22:37

Nice pens, blue light glasses, cute screen cleaner (my preteen/teen boys want these, little soft animals with microfibre tummy to clean tech screens), hairbands or a necklace (maybe straying into appearance). Voucher for a coffee shop, hot choc powder and mini marshmallows? New phone case or pencil case?

slug · 29/11/2020 22:38

Gifts from the Science Museum shop always go down well in our house. DD has the mug that displays constellations when hot.

I'm thinking of getting her this as a stocking fuller though as an astrophysics student she has access to far bigger telescopes now

truthlemon · 29/11/2020 22:39

For DD13 I have: Coca Cola Tic-tacs, Strawberry Smints, bamboo toothbrush with rainbow bristles, phone cover, phone ring thing, Lego blindbag, washi tape, fancy stickers, multicoloured pens (the ones where you click down the colour at the top), fancy soap, hair ruffles, sheet facemask, phone cleaning stickers, mini wipes, mini handcream, cookie cutter, lip balm, mini Nutella, milk straws, pencil sharpener, puzzle ball.

parietal · 29/11/2020 22:43

my DD has no interest in clothes / appearance. Her stocking has

  • chocolate
  • paperback book
  • magazine wrapped up into a tube shape (e.g. craft or computing)
  • ecofriendly toothbrush / shampoo etc (she is very keen on XR etc)
  • pens / pencils
  • other desk things - mini stapler / post-its with cute animals on etc.
  • christmas tree decoration

Personalised USB stick are really useful if they need to take into school, they always come back if they lose them.

Appuskidu · 29/11/2020 22:50

This is a good thread-following for ideas!

PlantDoctor · 29/11/2020 22:53

I once got a 20 questions ball and it kept me quiet for days! It was amazing how specific of an item it would guess!

Saisong · 29/11/2020 23:02

Thank you all so much, load of amazing ideas, love the cheap ear pods. Eldest daughter has Apple ones that she bought with her own money but youngest, who isn’t as bothered with brands would be thrilled with them.

Also thanks @MrsMiaWallis forgot I hadn’t added on pony things yet for horsey daughter so picked up a tail bandage, riding socks and gloves for her.

Also just looks up the little screen cleaner animals and they are just too cute so will add one for each girl.
