Simply that. Please can you tell me, if you were mid 30's with a good income and expensive taste what would be in your dream hamper? I guess I'm looking for things that you would love but probably wouldn't buy for yourself? Many TIA.

Cashmere socks, I can afford them but it feels frivolous.
Votary super seed oil, again I can afford it but it's spendy.
A really decent candle, something like Diptyque but definitely not a Yankee one.

Marvis toothpaste, aesop or some other expensive hand soap. Offblak tea bags, nice ground coffee, candles and nice big matches, socks, an umbrella, bath salts or oil, loccitanne almond shower oil.
A book to read once I'm in the bath with all those nice things around me.

Oooh I hope it's for me!

Stationfork · 10/11/2020 18:21

Another thing I love is Korres products. They are high end but not THAT expensive. Sainsburys had some on offer recently too

Thank you so much for all your lovely ideas so far. A bit more info for you . Recipient is an assistant head, adores children [of course!] is single, very feminine, likes pretty things, beauty, baking and reading. There is about £150 left of the budget for this. So far I have Si perfume, a Dune tote bag and a gorgeous wrap from Brand Alley.

Leather gloves, white company pjs, maybe some Barbour slippers / gloves / scarf

Ted baker bag / purse ( leather) oohhh I'd love to be the shopper for this gift with that budget

MrsWhites · 10/11/2020 19:56

If she likes baking what about a nice mixing bowl and a few utensils, or a baking recipe book?

Lineofconcepcion · 10/11/2020 19:57

Toast soap, yum . . .

52andblue · 10/11/2020 20:01

How about luxury things she could use at work?
So, a lovely teacup and saucer (Penhaligons recently had one on offer, though I ordered from them in a sale once and their customer service was awful) or a very fancy water bottle?
A book about books?
I recently read: 'Bookworm, a memoir of childhood reading' by Lucy Mangan and it was wonderful.

52andblue · 10/11/2020 20:02

Lucky lucky her though!!
