Weirdest present request?

I reckon this one's a bit weird...

We walked into town today & were talking about Christmas and presents. Dd1 has asked for a keyboard.

And an extension lead Grin

It does make sense so she can plug the keyboard in without interfering with other things. But, it's not exactly wrap-up-able!

Any other odd requests out there?

A Gdd at 3 dictated her Father Christmas letter to SiL.
Requests included ‘a real baby, boy or girl.’

She did get her wish - just over a year after that Christmas.

My DD has asked for a Christmas tree with cakes on for her 3rd birthday next month, I love Christmas (and cake) so have happily obliged 😁

My brother and I once asked for cardboard boxes for Christmas, our parents obliged (thinking we were joking) we had the best time making forts with them 😂 they didn't give us our 'real' presents till new year! 😆

@sohypnotic that sounds like a good present to me!

Dd2 has recently asked for an orchid mantis. She watches an insane number of bug/snake/exotic animal videos on youtube & fascinates me with what she learns so I've half been considering it. Must be mad!

When I was 3, I'd asked for the usual "girly" toys (doll, pram, etc) then I went to see Santa the day before Christmas Eve and apparently I asked him for a gun...

My poor DM then dropped me off at DGM's house and went off to buy my a toy gun!

It was probably as my older cousin was 7 and he was very much into guns!
