Help me with dd10 'comfy' Christmas...

Dd10 has (not diagnosed with anything) some sensory issues, mainly touch. She loves things that are soft and comfy. All she has asked for for Christmas is books and 'comfy stuff'!
I've got her some other things I think she will like too, but regarding comfort, I have bought a soft blanket, a velour tracksuit, some soft pj's (she already has a lovely dressing gown, some slippers, a cushion for her bed. (she already has 2 normal pillows and 5 square cushions ha ha)

Any other ideas?? I feel like there must be some things I'm missing that area really obvious.

My dd has asked for these soft toys
Called squishmallows. They are so soft and cuddly.. I want one for my bed!!!

WotchaTalkinBoutWillis · 10/12/2019 22:13

fluffy slipper socks

Daftapath · 10/12/2019 22:13

A thick mattress topper? It's like sleeping on top of a duvet. So comfy and squidgy.

Worldshohohokayestmum · 10/12/2019 22:17

I bought a brushed cotton duvet set recently and I love it. I woke in the night the other week and in my sleepy, dazed state, I remember saying outloud: 'I'm sleeping in a cloud' so I echo PP's suggestions of bedding Grin

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 11/12/2019 18:55

What about a weighted blanket? You can get some that have a fleecy outer cover for extra comfyness.

BlueEyedFloozy · 11/12/2019 19:58

My 13yo has ASD and loves all things Sherpa/Borg. He has a blanket on top of his fitted sheet, has super soft hoodie and trouser lounge wear, socks and a dressing gown but his favourite thing is his Sherpa neckwarmer from Mountain warehouse.

MrOnionsBumperRoller · 12/12/2019 10:10

M&S onesies are super soft and cosy and currently 2 for £25. What about ambient lights?

bsc · 12/12/2019 10:14

Sainsbury's have some "Sherpa fleece throws"- they're velvety one side, thick-pile fleece the other. I got DD one, and it's v cost, and so soft to stroke (I can't stop stroking it myself!)

They only seem to have burgundy colour ones atm though... They have had other colours before.

Absoluteunit · 12/12/2019 10:21

In a rush aven't read all the replies so sorry of this has been mentioned already! My DD has ASD and likes all things comfy Smile I bought her a pink unicorn fleecey duvet cover from B&M which has been a real hit.

Fleecey pjs, onesies and socks are always a winner too!

EvilHerbivore · 12/12/2019 10:26

Fluffy beanbag?

louisethedisease · 21/09/2020 21:17

Squishmallows

littlestpogo · 21/09/2020 21:22

Oh this is such a great thread.

I have a DS 8 with sensory issues who is similarly obsessed with ‘comfy/soft’ things

CoffeeAndDryShampoo · 21/09/2020 21:29

Do you think your DD would like knitting OP? You could get some larger knitting needles, some chunky yarn and a basic knitting book, and she could make as many soft and comfy things as she'd like!

Lockdownhairdontcare · 21/09/2020 21:52

Squidgy neck pillow for the car.
A V pillow.

drspouse · 21/09/2020 23:24

My DS would love the teddy bedding. He also needs some slippers but have not yet found any that he doesn't fling off.

Palavah · 21/09/2020 23:28

Would she like to knit or crochet her own comfy things? Some lovely chunky wools out there. Im not a crafter but i think crochet is easier to do?

chromis · 22/09/2020 05:25

Make sure you remove all the labels.

Londonborncatty · 22/09/2020 14:33

What about one of the huge fleece hoodies that are currently all the rage? Have you seen the huge two feet slippers. They are usually in the shape of an animal head and both your feet fit in them. Keep her toes warm while watching TV.

Londonborncatty · 22/09/2020 14:34

Fluffy bean bags are lovely too.

newlabelwriter · 22/09/2020 14:38

an Oodie - My DD has one at the top of her list!

Shufflebumnessie · 22/09/2020 15:18

Some of the Jellycat cuddly toys are amazingly soft (especially some of the bunnies).
Soft hat, gloves, scarf set.

louisethedisease · 22/09/2020 18:39

Good shout for the jellycat teddies. Tk maxx have them heavily reduced.

julesover40 · 22/09/2020 18:42

Dunelm have a great range if products called teddy. Onsies, hoodies, slippers, blankets, hot water bottles. My dds are both hoping to get some, nice range if colours too x

EatsFartsAndLeaves · 22/09/2020 18:51

Slippers, hot chocolate, fairy lights, a fluffy hat with ear flaps. A hoodie a few sizes too big. A bean bag.

chochaholic79 · 22/09/2020 18:54

ZOMBIE!
