I forgot to buy crackers, the pulling kind.

*Went to the shops for nappies as we were down to 2
Came back with 2 bottles of prosecco, 1 irish cream, creme brûlée, stollen and picked onions.

This morning I woke up to "where are the nappies?"*

Same here @Oysterbabe. Remembered as I was dishing up and it takes 3 hours to defrost. Then by the time we went to eat it it had been left out a little too long and it was a bit warm. Still tasted good though!

I forgot to cook the Yorkshire puds. I thought the plates looked a bit emptier than usual but couldn’t work out why.

Forgot to cook the stuffing. Also just found a box of malteasers in my handbag which were meant to be in dh’s stocking.

To get DP a Christmas card! He always gets a lovely one and puts a lovely message in it. I felt awful when our DD brought it up with my coffee.

Lost one of each of the DC presents! I think they might have been thrown away with all the sodding packaging for everything else. So annoyed with myself. Luckily they were both very cheap so I've reordered them. Such a waste though!

Christmas.... Currently cooking sausages and chips for dinner.

@ToEarlyForDecorations well in that case let me tell you more.
After looking in all the usual nappy hides: car boot, backpack, spare clothes bag, underneath the couch and handbag, we found a smaller nappy and thought we had saved the day, after all DC is a "one poo a day" kind of guy and he had ticked that box earlier.
Went for a walk and then he was moaning for a carry. I carry.
I then feel the dreaded wetness and perfume of unmistakable "never say one poo a day".

New coat is outside as I can't brave it.

And we found some reusable that are way too small and he is now asleep in those.

I guess tomorrow morning is going to be interesting here.

Forgot to buy Nutella to melt, for icing my home made chocolate chestnut log on Christmas Eve.
Thankfully, we realised at 5pm and the village shop was a) still open and b) actually had a jar in stock!

Forgot I lent my tools to next door, who are away til Thursday.

Not a screwdriver in the house. I have a toddler with lots of toys that I can’t put batteries in 😣

I made two trays of food to hand round in lieu if atarters. Found them in the utility when getting the cheese board out to bring to room temperature.

Serving them tomorrow at my mum's instead.

Crackers 🤦🏽‍♀️ Bought the bloody things but you just reminded me they never made it to the table.
