HELP! Need inspiration for emergency last minute presents for DP. So far I've got him:-

-socks

  • pants
  • a credit card tool thing
  • a new rucksack for work (commuter)
  • a card wallet

It feels a bit nothing-y and naff! What have you got your DP/DH?

Ladytinselmuff · 22/12/2018 09:41

Jacket
Cashmere jumper
Shirt
Chocolate
Socks
2 pictures (prints)of the town we live in - because I wanted themXmas Grin
Nothing else as the jacket & jumper were quite pricey!

tumpymummy · 22/12/2018 09:55

Some books he ordered himself from Amazon

Some fudge
Christmas beer from Aldi
Have no idea what else to get! We have been together so long we dont buy much for each other anymore. Last year I bought him a few bits and bobs and he didn't like any of it, so I haven't really bothered this year which is a bit sad. But then I'm hoping he hasn't bought me much either. Prefer to spend the money on the kids.

sakuramiyagi · 22/12/2018 10:01

I went a bit mad this year:

1 Week holiday for us in Holland
Arnhem battlefield tour
Battle of Arnhem book
Barbour jacket
Barbour scarf
Adidas superstars
3x T-shirt's
Chocolate
Fudge from Edinburgh fudge kitchen
Selection of little kitchen gadgets
Guitar strap
Monopoly - Queen edition
Guitar polish
Labrador print kitchen apron
Anker power brick

Hopefully he likes everything Grin

Bunbunbunny · 22/12/2018 10:02

Nothing, wanted to buy him clothes but he said no as he wants to loose weight. Wouldn't give me a list either! I don't want to waste money & couldn't see anything on Oxford Street sp gave up

thewinkingprawn · 22/12/2018 10:04

Nothing - neither of us need or want or can afford anything. Haven’t in years!

BarbedBloom · 22/12/2018 10:13

PlayStation VR and some games. Bluetooth headphones. Acrylic paint pens. Some t-shirts and a hoody he saw and liked back in June. Japanese kit kats in weird flavours. Spoiled him a bit this year as has been a hard one

YouBetterWORK · 22/12/2018 10:32

A bag for his laptop, we do a family secret santa to eliminate piles of tat, but you have a partner budget and he's chosen that one.

His birthday soon after, which he doesn't know about present wise I've got him a 16yr Lagavullin (my mum has chipped in too) And some proper whiskey glasses from DD.

Cocolepew · 22/12/2018 10:37

A bottle of Jack Daniels
A denim shirt.
He got me tickets to see The Revolution in February, for my birthday in November, so we had to buy plane tickets and a night in a hotel so that's our Christmas presents too.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 22/12/2018 12:37

A day light lamp - he spends around 10-12 hours in his darkish office and really needs the light. I've given it to him already and it is used every day.
And some down slippers as his office is also cold - no way to improve the room itself.

Funnyface1 · 22/12/2018 12:55

Headphones
3 books
Toiletry gift set with shower radio
Aftershave
Ferrero rocher
bike tool
Fudge
Scratch card
Coin (he collects)
Mini wine for stocking

Need more really but have no idea what. He buys his own clothes and has just bought pumps, t shirts and boxer shorts.

NerosFiddle · 22/12/2018 12:56

From the dc I've got him, his favourite book growing up.

I've bought him boxers, socks and a jumper. I've also booked us all a week in center Parcs next year.

GooodMythicalMorning · 22/12/2018 13:00

Ps4 VR here too with 5 vr games and non vr spiro trilogy game. V excited about giving it.

Chesneyhawkes1 · 22/12/2018 13:05

2 jumpers
Coat
Fred Perry shirt
After shave with matching shower gel
Tottenham shirt (to my disgust as an Arsenal fan)
Some jeans
Tag watch
AirPods

The dogs got him some Calvin Klein pants and some socks. Saved their pawket money.

PatchworkElmer · 22/12/2018 13:05

A wooden watch from me.

DS has got him a wooden toy golf game for the garden (we said that presents from
DS should be something we can enjoy with him), and a voucher for some actual golf lessons.

tomhazard · 22/12/2018 13:06

2 books. I think he will have got me books too. We really don't spend a lot of money on each other at Xmas, prioritise the kids

Girlicorne · 22/12/2018 14:06

We don't usually buy for each other but have set a budget of £100 each this year, so I ve got him a ps classic, socks, wine gums, chilli gummis, a set of hot sauces and a travel mug for work.
