Disaster! I am not having much luck with my Christmas shopping this year. I have ordered LEGO 75930 Jurassic World Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate from Amazon as a Christmas present for my son. It costs £99.99, so a pretty expensive item. It arrived today in its original packaging (no other packaging used), with the address label stuck on the original box. Also, the box arrived damaged and it was only secured with a Sellotape. But most of all, my son saw it being delivered!!! As the item arrived unwrapped and the delivery man made no attempt to hide it in some way, in fact he knock on the window of the room where my son played and showed the package to him!
I am devastated. My son still believes in Father Christmas and I will now have to buy another present. Thanks to Amazon I am now £99.99 out of pocket. I have sent a complaint to Amazon, lets see what they say. How would you deal with this?

I would like to warn other mums. If you want to keep your Lego a secret from your children, do not buy it from Amazon!

Cross post with fliss also if you return it what do Amazon do with a box with your address sticker all over it?

This order was fulfilled by Amazon directly, not a third party. Debbiewest0 is right, there was no mention of "this comes unwrapped" on this item. I don't see anything wrong with an 8 year old still believing in Father Christmas, do you?
Ontheboardwalk, you are right about the stickers, there is no way to remove them without damaging the box.

They did this last year with a present from my husband to me, I answered the door. He complained and they gave him £5 credit. Irritating to see they are still doing this, particularly at Christmas time.

Is there no box to tick for a gift?

Whilst there's an 'hide orders' section - which is great as the kids can't see what you've ordered. They spam the page with 'Buy again' messages

I'm also fed up of the 'deleivery date' that keeps changing or is very wide.

And the free shipping of you make £20 minimum purchase - but no mention of shipping cost otherwise

And I don't like the free shipping for this to be changed to X cost for shipping and you have to opt in

I'm sticking to eBay!
