I searched but can't see a thread on this.
DH is very unimaginative (and well to be honest giving him free reign often goes badly wrong!) so every year demands a list. And every year I struggle to think of what to put on it. Typical as any other time of year I could probably think of loads of things!
So give me some inspiration please - what's top of your wish list this year? What lovely things are you secretly coveting?
Thank you

I'd like a cashmere "boyfriend" cardigan, hotel chocolat chocolates and a weekend away preferably somewhere I can totally relax and eat amazing grub Grin

I'm likely to get none of these, not even the bloody chocolates as DP isn't the best at gift buying.

A Michael Kors watch so I can post a picture of it on facebook on xmas day with the caption "boy did good"

BetterEatCheese · 20/11/2018 22:05

ILoveDolly · 20/11/2018 22:10

I really want a laptop
I also asked for the new CJ Sansom its a hardback
A nice pack of posh felt tip pens
A new leather handbag which I have seen in the local shop and have instructed my children to point out to dh

WontonSoupForTheSoul · 20/11/2018 22:16

A nice new fountain pen
A Hotel Chocolat velvetiser, and salted caramel things.

That’s it really. Kind of wanted a Dyson Airstyler but reviews are mixed so in two minds.

He normally gets me an Amazon gift card too and that takes care of my Kindle downloads for the year.

A horse.
The means and equipment to keep, feed and ride a horse, in various places, in perpetuity.
Horse riding/transporting insurance, in perpetuity.
Horse vehicle, running/insurance costs, in perpetuity.
Horse show/eventing/whatever fees forever.
Horse riding lesson money forever.

That is all.

Jimmy Choo evening bag to match the shoes his PA bought for my birthday. Who says romance is dead?

Last year I got a number plate.

ImNotChangingMyUsernameAgain · 20/11/2018 22:34

Just bought myself the Hotel Chocolat Velvitiser. Well worth it....heaven in a mug.

civicxx · 20/11/2018 22:35

At risk of sounding spoilt last year I well, well I was! Full set of real techniques make up brushes, Tiffany bracelet which I ADORE, fluffy pjs from debenhamss that I totally wore all year around, slippers, a coffee machine tassimo thing which made awesome baileys latte!! A teddy that goes in the microwave, gorgeous lipsy underwear and errrm oh a small bottle of alcohol, new mascara and a few OPI nail varnishes!

Poppylizzyrose · 20/11/2018 22:43

My list

An early present (MY BABY due 5th dec) Wink

Pandora bracelets (these new ones that are like chains) gold and silver
Dyson curler/dryer
Ragdale hall spa day/weekend
Chanel mademoiselle
New pjs
Socks
Usual benefit makeup

It’s been a pricey gift year for me though as I got most of the baby loot so not sure what’s in store for me and doubt i’ll get much on my list, it’s more of a wish list.

SymphonyofShadows · 21/11/2018 01:04

I really want an Elipson turntable. I can't usually think of anything apart from yet another pair I found Docs but I really need a new record deck.

7salmonswimming · 21/11/2018 01:11

Two nights and days in a row with no husband or children at home.

halfwitpicker · 21/11/2018 01:17

A really fancy watch.

itsthemenopausenotme · 21/11/2018 01:24

I'd like a jigsaw puzzle board, some scented tealights and will probably add some books to my list too.

Bloodybridget · 21/11/2018 04:35

I would like some new socks that don't fall down inside my boots, a hi-viz top for rowing, good hand cream is always welcome, and I love an "experience" - last Christmas DP got us tickets for the London Postal Museum with the mail train ride, that was brilliant. As I have negotiated some no gift pacts this Christmas, and no-one has asked what I'd like, it isn't likely I'll get any of above . .

Rachelover40 · 21/11/2018 04:58

Good health!

AwakeNow · 21/11/2018 05:26

New book, immersion blender. New tablet cover.

Sarahlou63 · 21/11/2018 06:25

A bottle brush tree
A pomegranate tree
A one day fish cooking course
A one day pastry cooking course
A surprise!

ImogenTubbs · 21/11/2018 08:24

A light up modern geo-political globe (joint for me and DD)
Good quality machine washable slippers with rubberised soles
Proper-posh make-up
Piano lessons
I always say every year - good quality gold hoop earrings. Sadly, DH did get me some last year but I lost one of them Blush
Always happy with Molton Brown or L'Occitane smellies

ddogmum · 21/11/2018 08:25

My baby to come early!

BiddyPop · 21/11/2018 08:47

I would like a food processor attachment for my kenwood chef. But I don’t want to start the “asking for kitchen” thing or I’ll end up like dm - a washing machine as her present. 😱

I covet dh’s sorrel slippers but don’t know if they do other colors (and dd would borrow them off me!)

Apparently dh had already bought mine. Dd is looking for ideas and I have none . I’m very boring- I did suggest a woolly hat!

SageYourResoluteOracle · 21/11/2018 08:59

@Arnoldthecat and @Rachelover40 those are both things on my wish list, too Thanks

notdancingbutplodding · 21/11/2018 09:03

I have bought myself - don't get from anyone else and that is fine - Apple AirPods in the black friday sale. Not getting tangled up in headphone wires whilst I'm walking around is going to be soo good!
