This has started today on Amazon. I got the Amazon Echo 2nd gen for £54.99. It was £89.99 yesterday. The Dot is down to £24.99.
I haven’t dared look at all the deals yet.

I don’t think I can cope with a whole week of Black Friday deals!

Cutesbabasmummy · 17/11/2018 17:23

Following! Can you use a dot without an echo?

HmmInteresting · 17/11/2018 17:32

@Cutesbabasmummy yes, we only have dots. 3 in total. They work the same as the larger version but the speakers aren't as good.

sjaba · 17/11/2018 17:32

Yes cutesbaba the dot works on its own. They say you should hook it up to your speakers but my 3rd gen dot is loud enough for my lounge without any more speakers

Cutesbabasmummy · 17/11/2018 17:41

sjaba thank you x

Winterfellismyhome · 17/11/2018 21:46

Thanks @barbed. I went for the 169 starter pack in the end. I reckon dp would rather use his controller

Ozil10 · 17/11/2018 23:54

Make sure you order the brand new 3rd gen Dot for everyone buying them, they're still 24.99 but delivery of them is early December. I have a Google Home but have just bought my DP a dot as for that price you can't go wrong.

Also found a few PS4 games reduced, as in the brand new out ones so I've saved about £20 off the cost of those too. Toying with the idea of a smart bulb next but that will be for myself for now!

tumpymummy · 18/11/2018 08:17

ozil why have you bought a dot if you already have a Google home,? Is the dot better? I thought it was better to have two the same so they can talk to each other?

SilkenTofu · 18/11/2018 08:27

Please make sure you check other sites as well. I bought a Belgium waffle maker on Steamer Trading for £50, down from £63 (20% off most items until end of Nov) with free delivery. The exact same item is on Amazon BF reduce to £70 from £100.

RingtheBells · 18/11/2018 08:41

Yes, always worth checking at John Lewis also as they often do a better guarantee

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/11/2018 09:21

I've just bought the dots for £24.99. One each for ds1 and ds2 as they need an alarm. Also handy for homework and ds1 loves his music. I've also got the kids fire tablet for ds3 for £59.99. Impressed with bargains so far.

Now just waiting for a good deal on the PS4, some games and the mibro.

shash1982 · 18/11/2018 09:46

Has anyone seen any deals on the amazon fire 10?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/11/2018 16:16

I'm also on the look out for the Breville curve grey and rose gold kettle and toaster. It's gone down to £70 for both in Curry's but if anyone sees it any cheaper can you let me know please.
