Sorry if this has been covered already but... What are your Christmas chocolate recommendations?

I like having some in the house over Christmas for movie nights and general treats but for some reason (palm oil?) I have gone off Cadbury, nestle, green and blacks and hotel Chocolat.

Please share your gluttonous favourites!

Booja booja. Expensive but worth it.

I'd second Montezuma's - you can get them in Sainsbury's now.

Also Sainsbury's Taste the Difference flaked chocolate truffles are amazing! M&S do pretty much identical ones.

Chococo are lovely - they do a chocolate orange slab which is delicious.

M&S do some nice bars, there is an Italian one with nuts in it which is AMAZING. Not sure about palm oil but I wouldn’t think so. I also like Leonidas which is proper Belgian chocolates but you can get in the UK. Neuhaus is also great but a bit more pricey and not sure if you can get them outside of the UK.

On the cheaper bars front, Milka is also nice.

Ooh and Toblerone??

Malteaser truffles are delicious and look quite festive

So, I have eaten a LOT of chocolate this week!

I have tried Montezuma, Godiva and Moser roth. So far the Moser either is the favourite. Still got the other Aldi chocoa (sp?) And chocolate Pringle things to try. Think I will go back for the seashells too because I love the guylian ones.

Thanks people.

For flavoured and filled chocolate, Neuhaus are amazing. For milk chocolate, Cailler is the best. I think online is your best bet for them in the UK although Neuhaus has a shop at At Pancras station. The M&S Swiss chocolate is also pretty good (it's from Frey, they're just up the road from us, not quite as posh as Lindt but good quality.
