I'm feeling sorry for myself I guess.

I'll get something from my Mum and husband and that's it.

Birthdays are the same.

DH, kids, parents, siblings, PIL, BIL/SIL, Aunt (only 1), cousins, old school friends. I have to buy over 20 people presents. TBH I'd rather we didn't get presents for the kids, we are overrun with toys and books for them. Whereas my family all buy each other books from our Amazon wishlists (or food and drink, good consumable presents) and that keeps me going for reading matter for the year so it works well.

Mum & Dad

Bro/SIL

My family is small so we're all quite close and get together on Christmas day

Mum, boyfriend and three friends.
Other family members died this year or just don't do gifts.

OP, if you're feeling a bit hard done-by, buy yourself something nice and wrap it up.

My mum buys me a token gift (say £10ish) and MIL buys me lots of bits that she finds in charity shops.

If it all goes right then zero. I try and insist on no gifts as I don't need or want anything and i would rather they kept their money.

My parents give me a cheque (I am 50, well off and don't need a cheque)
