Recommend the jo malone give away. I got a free 100ml cologne

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 14/05/2018 21:33

Oh albus well done! I played again and again (kept wiping browser Grin) and best I got was a 30ml cologne. I thought I'd stick at that Smile

woodwaj · 15/05/2018 20:49

25% off most things at Adidas today only. Just got ANOTHER pair of trainers for my boy because he's refusing to stop growing. (I may be being unreasonable seen as he's 3)

NoWordForFluffy · 16/05/2018 06:25

I have a £10 off £30 Boden voucher. It's says it's only for the intended recipient, but someone is welcome to try it. Expires on Friday though, so needs to be used ASAP!

Happinesss · 16/05/2018 08:05

Can I join?

I love Xmas! And a bargain Grin

If anyone sees any bargain Lego sets then that’s what I’m currently looking forSmile my daughters gone Lego mad! So will be looking for the Lego advent calendar closer to the time. Lego friends or elves would be great.

Wait4nothing · 16/05/2018 08:15

Ohhh Christmas thread! Can’t really spend too much yet at May is very Birthday heavy including dd and I’m due 2nd at the beginning of June.

First Xmas at home with kids this year (said we’d do each set of grandparents once then stay at home for a while as we have to travel to both sets - though my dad will help with the cooking this year!)

Dd will be 2.5 and baby will be 7 months (though already have some suitable presents 2nd hand from dd - activity table and got a ball pit super cheap in last years summer sale so will need balls for that).

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 17/05/2018 06:26

Noword I’d love to give it a go if it’s still available?

Happinesss · 17/05/2018 08:16

I’m also looking for a electric scooter for my daughter for Xmas.

Any sensory toys would be a great as well as my son has autism

RBW18 · 17/05/2018 12:11

Can I join in? (grin)

Ive brought for all of the children in the family and half way through my daughters stocking already.

Thank you for posting about toysforapound - How have I never heard of this before!! Amazing..

Soooo looking forward for Christmas this year and being super organised so I can actually enjoy the run up to christmas

NoWordForFluffy · 17/05/2018 12:27

Reastie, I've PM'd you!

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 17/05/2018 12:28

Brill, Thanks fluffy

NoWordForFluffy · 17/05/2018 12:46

I hope it works! It'd be a shame if it didn't get used! Xmas Grin

FireflyGirl · 17/05/2018 17:26

I have a £10 off a £30 spend at Boden code which expires tomorrow, same as Fluffy. PM me if anyone wants it.

FireflyGirl · 17/05/2018 17:34

Oh, and next Tu 25% off starts next Tuesday, 22nd May.

duckling84 · 18/05/2018 06:06

Thank you firefly I've been holding out for a tu deal

woodwaj · 18/05/2018 22:09

So I'm in a Christmas shopping kind of mood but not sure where I want to start so everyone what do you have in your Amazon wish lists or what are your go to presents in your stash? I personally prefer to gift 1 really decent present knowing I paid a really cheap price for it.

buckeejit · 20/05/2018 11:16

I spent £360 on Jo Malone last week & got £411 of stuff free on the grab game (if they fulfil all my orders)

I may sell a couple of bits on eBay as got a bit carried away-depends on when I work out who will get what & any special birthdays this year

There are some people selling bits they won that they aren't bothered about on that thread.

I really want to be done by the end of summer this year so looking for stocking fillers for dc & anything unusual. Something nice & puffin related for mil & currently looking for a plush mermaid (not Ariel) for dd.

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 20/05/2018 11:28

If it helps the Boden vouchers often seem to work longer than the expiry date.

I teetered over buy in jo Malone but didn’t get anything. I’ve never bought anything there before so I wasn’t sure what scent to go for in anything.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 20/05/2018 16:39

Also got a good haul in JM...Mum, Dad and Stepmum, and dh all sorted. The first three very tricky to buy for as all have expensive tastes 🙄 so I feel I've nailed it for them this year without bankrupting myself

AlbusPercival · 21/05/2018 07:38

Grr, annoyed with JM, instead I’d sending cologne they sent body oil. I have no use for body oil

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 21/05/2018 09:13

Oh that is annoying! Could you call them do you think or is that being a bit cheeky? I'd be tempted!

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 21/05/2018 10:02

That’s really annoying albus, have you emailed them to see what they say? Not sure where you stand with free gifts, they will probably do nothing but worth asking.

AlbusPercival · 21/05/2018 14:42

I’ve emailed them. If they don’t change it I’ll return the whole lot.
I have a friend who specialises in marketing law so will ask him. To me though it’s wrong as I made the purchase based on getting the cologne included

Coffeeonthesofa · 21/05/2018 14:48

buckeejit if you are looking for something practical that is Puffin related I would recommend a look at www.richardbramble.com/richard-bramble-artist-designer/

I bought two puffin bowls from the website last year and were really pleased with them. They have not chipped (very unusual in our house) and the design is still fresh and clear after a lot of use.
