Hello fellow Christmas people! I haven’t officially started my Christmas shopping yet but I wondered if any of you have or have noticed Christmassy cushion covers for larger (55cm x 55cm) cushions? All the ones I’ve seen are 45cm or under. I want to use them in place or our existing cushion covers so I don’t have to buy and store extra cushion pads.

..and since I feel like I can’t visit the bargain threads without leaving a bargain, let me share this one with you. It won’t help with Christmas presents, but it might save you some money over the summer...

You can get 2 for 1 cinema tickets at lots of cinemas (Tues and Wed only) and 2 for 1 meals at loads of chain restaurants (excl. Fri and Sat) for 1 year if you purchase an insurance policy with comparethemarket.com, see www.comparethemarket.com/customer-rewards/. I purchased a 1-day UK single trip travel insurance policy for £1.05 and qualified. So even if you only use it once, it’s worth it.

^ I’ve done what sockeatingmonster has done and it’s great! Doesn’t work in the cheap children’s films or the expensive seats at odeon though

Thanks for the heads up as the colour-in castle is on sale. 😁

A few nice bargains in the Joules sale. I've just bought the attached sock / mug set.

I'm thinking about buying DS2 a Switch, does anybody have one? Would it be ok for a 5yo?

If so, any ideas on where to find a bargainous one?

Didn’t even see the colour in castle on the first look through NoWord! Never mind Christmas, the DCare getting it now 😆

I don't think it has been mentioned already ( apologies if it has ) but Build-a-bear have a 2 for £22 sale online at the moment which includes some of the Marvel bears that are usually £21 a pop .
The Argos 3 for 2 on some of the toys has started which Amazon seem to be price-matching for things like the smaller Harry Potter sets.

Think I'm doing pretty well with my shopping. The little ones are all pretty much sorted, just need to get them all a book each and an outfit probably.

Need something for my nephews' first birthday though. I've got them a Whizz World train set but I think they might still be a bit young for that ok their birthdays so I'll probably keep it for Christmas.

If it's of any use to anyone, la redoute have got 25% off fashion at the moment with SAVE25.
