Just bought a couple of pairs of these reindeer earrings - £1.04 a pair so I'm not expecting anything amazing, but they look quite cute and my mum does love a Christmas earring.

Argos have some design a friend doll outfits reduced

nuttynutjob · 22/07/2018 17:38

Be careful of ordering toys from Ali express as no one can be sure if it passed safety tests. Even when the logo has CE marking it can be fake or the safety tests have expired. It's not really worth the risks.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 22/07/2018 20:36

Thanks duckling just ordered £40 of smiggle goodies - got 31 items including a pencil case dd desperately wanted reduced to £6. That's lots of stocking bits, some bits for dds cousins and a few things for the present box 😁

JurassicGirl · 23/07/2018 19:36

Loving the Lisa Angel site, thank you for the recommendations on here! I’d never heard of the site until I stumbled across it on here.
I’ve made a few orders from them now for Christmas and birthday goodies, all of which have been in the sale. Very impressed with speedy delivery and customer service. One of my items was damaged and they promptly had a replacement delivered free of charge and didn’t want the damaged item back.

Smellybears · 24/07/2018 11:09

Personalized decoration, I’ve ordered for Christmas but would be nice for christening/wedding/birthday present etc. only £3.60 in the sale.

Hopskipjumping · 24/07/2018 18:24

Can anyone with experience of thethe design a friend dolls advise if they are too old for 2.5 year old? Looking for a doll she can dress.

bollocksitshappenedagain · 24/07/2018 18:30

They are certainly easier to dress than barbies I would say!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 24/07/2018 18:32

hopskip no advice on the dolls as my dds have never shown interest in them. but build a bear are good for dressing up. It's all Velcro and easy to put on. My dds have had them since toddler age and still love them now at nearly 10 and 6. We also have quite a few in the preschool I work in and very popular amongst the 2/3/4 year olds. If you want a dress up one go for the bear style rather than the ponies/promise pets as these need separate clothes. You can get decent bundles on eBay then just stick in the washing machine or on the website they always have offers. If you buy from them direct apply for the free club as you get points back and vouchers on birthdays or if you don't visit often!

JurassicGirl · 24/07/2018 19:07

My dd has had designafriend dolls for a few years & my friends dd has played with them from about 3 yrs & could probably have managed earlier. They're nice dolls & not easily damaged! Pretty easy to dress as well.
