Does anybody know of somewhere that you can maintain a gift list with links/photos and mark items as bought? I used to be able to do this with amazon wish lists but I don’t think you can add links to products not from amazon anymore.

@InNeedOfALieInNow I've just started using Gift Plan app (iPhone) and like it. You can add pics & links, plus list ideas and what you've bought.

OhHolyFuck I asked my husband who is in to these things and he says there are no current plans for a mini N64 and the mini Neo Geo is the next mini console. I hope that makes sense!

@SpecialK24 yes that's the one. Under each person you can add several occasions - so Xmas, bday etc - then within those occasions you can add 'ideas' and 'bought'. You can tick things as bought on ideas too.

There's a note section under the ideas tab, so addresses etc could go there.

It's not perfect - I would like to be able to manage the list of people myself rather than the order the list decides, and I'd like a running total spend feature - but I do like it a lot overall.

I’m wondering if I need two gift lists. The one posted above seems great for managing ideas/lists for people but I can’t see where I can share them with other people (eg a list of Christmas ideas for each of my dd’s which I can share with family and they can mark what they’ve purchased). I’m currently looking at gift hero which seems to have the ability to do that if anybody is interested

Are you writing it as £10.00? I just put 10.00 and it's fine so maybe it doesn't recognise the symbol?

The entertainer have a weekend sale on. Picked up some play-doh stuff really cheaply.

Pannalash that sounds strange, are you definitely hitting the done button once you've put the info in? That's the only thing I can think of.

Sorry for drip feeding so looking at that screen there’s no option to put a £ sign and if for example I put 10 then it comes up as DZD10. I must be doing something wrong thanks for your help.

Sorry pannalash I don't know what's happening in that case. The only other thing I might suggest is shutting down the app by swiping it away and then re-opening it to see if that's helped at all. But you've probably already done that!

@pannalash your local settings on your phone are set to Algeria instead of U.K.

On an iPhone under settings > general > language and region > region you need to select United Kingdom. When I changed my region to algeria here the currency in the app also showed as dzd

Brilliant thank you inneed have just come on to tell you I’ve just been speaking to a very helpful chap from Airsource who created the app and he worked out the same thing. Really appreciate you taking the tine and now this is resolved the apps brilliant, highly recommended.
