Notcut they had pusheen in the buy 3 get 3 free? I might have to go and have a look then as every time they do that dd gets excited and tries to buy pusheen stuff only to be told by staff it’s excluded.

Nearlyadoctor · 09/06/2018 13:30

Grasshopper Scuttlebug £9.99 in local Aldi this morning.

duckling84 · 09/06/2018 16:07

Went RL shopping today, the entertainer had loads of zhu zhu pets massively reduced in store. Not much on the website though but the sale is here and is worth a look

duckling84 · 09/06/2018 16:13

Oh also picked up the latest playmobil catalogue which has their 2018 advent calendars in!! I love the Santa's workshop one so will buy that for ds2.
Also on the lookout for any playmobil how to train your dragons bargains

Jospeh Joseph worktop saver £5- nice and bright. Might be a nice gift with a cookbook (or the jj baking set I listed a while ago)

here

AmazingGrace16 · 10/06/2018 10:29

I ordered some of the 99p dresses and oh my they are awful haha. The skirt on mine is really long. I think they may be used for material rather than wearing!

AlbusPercival · 10/06/2018 11:08

I like mine AmazingGrace, but I’m 6ft. The material is cheap, but they were 99p

SideOrderofSprouts · 10/06/2018 15:58

I’m 5ft 9 so it’s the right length to wear with a Christmas jumper and leggings underneath. I just want it for Christmas jumper day at work (and stay away from Bunsen burners that day...)

I hope you're not someone who builds up static too, as you may spontaneously combust! 🔥 🔥 💥 💥

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 10/06/2018 21:03

yule I presume so. I picked up 3 jojo things and the person on the till told me it was buy 3 get 3 free so I went back and got 3 more things. If it helps this was in the Brighton store :)

SideOrderofSprouts · 10/06/2018 21:30

Fluffy I’m a science technician in a school. I shall be avoiding the van der graff and Bunsen burners that day 😂😂

Tesco direct have reduced a lot of toys but again, links aren’t great. I had to go into each toy section and refine by Tesco as the seller to see what was reduced, but there are some good things there quite heavily reduced.

popcorneveryminute · 11/06/2018 21:28

Can anyone remember when Lisa Angel had their sale last year? I've got my eye on lots of things for Christmas gifts but was hoping to get a bargain or two!

NoWordForFluffy · 11/06/2018 21:42

Mid / late July as I bought something for my niece.

popcorneveryminute · 11/06/2018 21:48

Thanks @NoWordForFluffy, I'll keep an eye out

Methenyouplus4 · 12/06/2018 06:29

Hello! I didn't realise the thread started as early as me! So far I have made a few charity shops purchases (board games etc) and need to update my gift list app so I remember what I actually have.

This year the tough ones will be:

  1. 14 year old fun DS stocking fillers. Last year he liked the mini retro arcade game (posted here) and each year I like similar 'toys' even though he is getting older.
  1. Main present for youngest 3 DC (aged 6-3). There is nothing they need, they don't really ask for branded stuff and already have scooters, toy shop/kitchen, castle, lego etc (mainly because they were kept from eldest DS). Don't want x3 huge things but do want a bit of 'wow' when they walk in the room.
YuleABUnREASTIEable · 12/06/2018 09:36

Methenyou I’m wondering about something giant and blow up as dd has so much stuff but thinks the bigger a present the better. I’m thinking I cold blow up an inflabible unicorn/dinosaur/some other random item and it would look amazing wrapped up and she’d think it was great but it can be let down to minimal size for storage. Not really expensive main present material but makes the pile look a lot huger and gives a wow when they walk in and it’s wrapped.

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 12/06/2018 09:37

Inflabible?! Inflatable

NotPennysBoat · 12/06/2018 15:37

On a similar vein to the inflatable idea, I picked up some life-size cardboard colour-in playhouses and a colour-in rocket from Hobbycraft last year. Hours of fun, look impressive and fold down flat (and not expensive either!)

YuleABUnREASTIEable · 12/06/2018 16:27

^ yes, agree with notpennysboat, dd has loved these too

margaritasbythesea · 12/06/2018 17:48

Hello everyone - Great price on Lego Kylo Ren´s Tie Fighter at amazon at the moment. 42 pounds.

margaritasbythesea · 12/06/2018 17:54

And Lego Ninjago Nightcrawler too.

Hedgyhoggy · 12/06/2018 20:19

Need a reminder on how to do links but Zhu zhu hamsters are £3.25 (down from £13) and Zhu Zhu house playset at £9.99 at The Entertainer

EmGee · 12/06/2018 20:50

I have had some CCC alerts for Lego Friends kits. Can't remember off hand but the Friendship house, Olivia's van (11,99) and Andrea's speedboat (15,99). I'm resisting as we have quite a lot of Lego Friends already.....

Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 12/06/2018 21:02
