Ooh, I'll look too now. I think I had the choice of about 20 things when I looked last night!

woodwaj · 04/06/2018 20:23

Is a smiggle pencil case, notepad, pen and slapband enough for a Christmas pressie?

NoWordForFluffy · 04/06/2018 20:51

Definitely, woodwaj.

woodwaj · 04/06/2018 20:55

In that case, I've crossed my first two presents off my shopping list

Fatbird71 · 04/06/2018 23:12

Very interesting thread. We are going to Disney this Xmas so need to get sorted early this year............thanks everyone.......I never see these sort of bargains as live in the middle of nowhere and don't tend to venture too far from Amazon...

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 05/06/2018 09:58

Someone upthread mentioned the Rex London sale. Lots of good things on there (just kitted out ds1's party bags for his Dec bday) but these stood out as a bargain - string of sweet paper lantern lights £1.95 down from £19.95.

Vintage kids design

Hedgehog design

Dolly design

Vintage transport

There were some non lantern ones in the sale too - search for party lights.

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 05/06/2018 11:30

I just followed the link for £1.95 party lights and instead spent nearly £40 quid on about twenty random things. Gah! Lots of nice things for bird lovers. We got sorted for fathers day too.

Thanks for the Smiggle tip: I’ll check it out in store on Friday. I hate Smiggle with a passion- over priced and terrible quality. We’ve gone through five pencil cases in the last year. DS2 who is thankfully indifferent to the charms of Smiggle is still using the same cheap pencil case I got him three years ago. But there is literally no one in dd’s class that doesn’t have one. I should grow a back bone.
M&S have 20% off uniforms at the moment (in Ireland - I think the timing is slightly different for uk but one to watch emails for) not very chrissmassy I know, but money saved is more pennies for the Christmas fund Xmas Smile

AlbusPercival · 05/06/2018 11:48

Those lights are gorgeous itsnice

NoWordForFluffy · 05/06/2018 13:06

The M&S uniform sale is here too. I got ours a week or so ago with a Sparks discount code from my mum, so didn't have to fight the hoards!

I love Dot Com gift shop. I've had loads of bits from there for the present box which have gone down really well.

FireflyGirl · 05/06/2018 20:02

Build your own den kit £9.60 at The Works with code BB4BM. It's an affiliate link to Bargain Buys for Busy Mums, and that's their discount code. There's also 17% cashback with Topcashback. Free Click and collect.

hoopdeloop · 06/06/2018 09:09

Tesco Direct have reduced lots of stationery and arts and crafts sets to under £10. Don’t have a link though, the links have been unreliable so best bet is through google.

Boots are discontinuing their 17 range, I’ve not seen a lot of stores carry it so it now might be online only but would make good stocking stuffers for a teenager

MrsCrimbo74 · 06/06/2018 09:32

Hollister have got another sale on, it's perfect for stocking fillers for the men/boys in your lives, their boxers are down to £3.99 instead of £12.00 and you can get mens T-Shirts for £5.99

Strawberryfield12 · 06/06/2018 13:34

Thank you for Rex suggestion Itsnice! Didn't even know that site, but it has lots of lovely things and doesn't seem to be as expensive as Notonthehighstreet.

Kraggle · 06/06/2018 14:16

Does anyone know if Sainsburys will have another 25% sale off clothes before September? Don’t think I can afford m&s uniform even with 20% off and I dithered at the one a couple of weeks ago and am now kicking myself.

bella9 · 06/06/2018 16:48

Sainsbury's usually have 25 % off Tu clothing in August, think last year it was before the bank holiday week

Hedgyhoggy · 06/06/2018 17:55

If you sign up for the Hollister newsletter then you receive an email that includes a code for a further 10% off.

FireflyGirl · 06/06/2018 19:20

Taken me blinking ages, but finally found my post about predicted Tu 25% off last year, and I don't remember any of them being wrong - someone please shout if they remember:
15 August 2017
19 September 2017
24 October 2017
27 November 2017

They're usually around the same time each year.

RJnomore1 · 06/06/2018 22:36

There's some good discounts on urban decay at Debenhams today. Just got an eyeshadow palette down from £30 to £15. Would be ideal for teenagers. Also about 30% off the naked ad naked basics/mini palettes. Think it might end at midnight.

Notlongnow1 · 07/06/2018 00:10

Thanks for Rex heads up. Bought a few nice stocking fillers 👍🏻

ForEverlong · 07/06/2018 09:12

More discounts at Debenhams today www.debenhams.com/?cmp=EMC_S_UK_20180607_15_WK40THURSUK18&scvid=0

Hedgyhoggy · 07/06/2018 12:53

Does any one remember the name of the company that sold the tartan bags that was on here last year tia

NoWordForFluffy · 07/06/2018 12:57

Ness?

NoWordForFluffy · 07/06/2018 12:58

Ness.

Hedgyhoggy · 07/06/2018 14:20

That’s it! Thanks Fluffy
