What, if anything, do you have on top of your tree?

I haven't put our tree up yet, but I don't usually put anything special on the top (I remember a tinsel star in childhood)

DD wants a bow, or an angel. I don't really like the idea of a bow, not sure.

So what do you have, inspire me - ideally with pics!

A broken purple fairy that I found in a sale at B&Q that I felt sorry for on the first Christmas my husband and I were dating.

She clashes against my traditional theme of Red and Gold. She matches NOTHING!

Every year she gets a bit more tired looking and we repair her.

She was our first Christmas decoration and I love her to bits 🤗

Here's to many more years of her causing havoc with my OCD 😄

Just a glittery gold wire star. It doesn't go with my tree decs this year, was only supposed to be a stand in but haven't found the right thing yet.

There is a house near me with a cheese grater as the tree topper, I kid you not! 😂

The kids tree has a sparkly silver snowflake on top. The living room tree has nothing yet. Haven found anything suitable and a few inches need to be chopped off the top before anything can fit on it.

We have a little cuddly Bagpuss toy and we put a little bit of tinsel around his neck. It just happened one year when we were decorating it and DD had it in her hand and wanted it on top so it's become a tradition.

I have a crown on mine... it needed to be gold & I couldn't find a star the right size but the crown fits perfectly.

I know it's not remotely Christmassy but I don't care I love it Xmas Grin

Gold embellished fake poinsettia one clipped at front and back they are so light compared to the tree toppers that always weight the top of the tree down. Got them from Lakeland

We have a Nordic style Santa. I always felt that stars and angels were a bit to religious (non religious family) even though I grew up with them on Christmas tree.
We have added the crown DD made in nursery- she doesn't like wearing it.

I couldn't get a tree in my house with all the books and furniture. I have a nice three foot LED bare branch tree with fake snow on it on the sideboard and berries and pine cones, it looks lovely. It doesn't have anything on top.

Usually a star but we have a new tree this year and haven't been able to get the star to stay on straight so we've borrowed an angel from MIL. She looks like she could topple down at any moment too, to be honest!

Not kidding. We do a themed tree every year and this year’s theme is Ancient Greece.

It’s more fun than it sounds 😂
