If your DH gave you a £200 budget what would you want for Xmas?

Since the kids came along DH and I spend £40-£50 on each other for Xmas but this year his business has done very well and he says that I deserve more than that (hurrah!) and has said to give him ideas of presents total value £200. the problem is I have everything I want materially, I struggle to find £50 worth of stuff usually.

So I thought -
Pandora Charm - £30ish
Perfume - £12 (my favourite is Just Pink by next, I think it’s nicer than any designer perfume)

After that I’m stuck. Help inspire me!

A night away with DH at a luxury hotel
A meal (lunch or evening) with DH at a good London restaurant
Diptyque Baies candle

Me personally, I'd want:
Some Estée Lauder double wear foundation £20
Some comfy but cool skinny jeans from Topshop £40
A couple of jumpers, just from somewhere like Primark or Asda £40
A facial £30-40
A pedicure £25
A few new makeup bits from Kiko, Loreal, Mac £50

I’d ask for mac or CT lipstick, a pair of felted slippers like mahabis, a stand mixer, Aesop exfoliator, a new hairdryer, a wool blanket.

This is some of my actual Christmas wish list, the truth is we are on a strict budget this year and DH and I are spending £50 on each other to get 3 things, one from us and one thing from each of the dc.

I would want a big Yankee candle
A nice scarf
Winter boots
A new piece of jewellery

MrsPringles · 18/11/2017 07:42

A new bottle of Jo Malone perfume, some lovely PJ’s, a nice smellies or skin care set, fancy hot chocolate set

Basically things that I don’t have to share with DS or DH!

A bag by Skyravenwolf like this or anything by Sam Cannon Art. Neither cost that much but I'd be so happy.

I want a year's gym membership and a coat from All Saints.

I'm going to get nothing, since I'm single! Smile

NotTheMrMenAgain · 18/11/2017 12:21

maiden that bag is bloody amazing - I love hares and will be googling that, thank you Smile

I would want a talking Yoda from Build a Bear, some Star Wars lego and something from Neil's Yard Remedies. It's my birthday a couple of weeks before Christmas and I know I'll be getting the stuff on my wishlist because I've seen the parcels DH ordered (excited!)

BusySittingDown · 18/11/2017 12:36

A new coat
Some Jo Malone perfume
Some lush stuff or smellies of some kind
A big Yankee candle

Diptyque candle, perfume, Steve Madden ankle boots, Ghd curler, chocolates, gin, southern comfort, beautiful cashmere jumper - I could blow £200 easy!!

MiniMileyMoo · 18/11/2017 13:43

I'd have trouble choosing but I'd go with:
A jumper from Hush or Mint Velvet
A couple of new mugs (Emma Bridgewater or Orla Kiely)
Jo Malone Candle
Zara voucher for new jeans
New casual shoes / boots
New tablecloth or throw for sofa

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/11/2017 14:08

A couple Californian guinea-pigs (its pointed like a Siamese cat, caramel coloured coat and dark eyes).

But animals are not for Christmas Xmas Wink

OdeToAutumn · 18/11/2017 15:07

Winter boots or coat
Brazilian blow out
A couple of jeans and tops

SwedishEdith · 18/11/2017 15:11

Art or jewellery, I think. But take your time choosing it. I'd struggle as well as I don't want stuff either.

Celtic sheepskin slippers are good choice as well.

Pipsqueak11 · 18/11/2017 15:13

a spa day - wonderful!

giveovermypreciousss · 18/11/2017 15:15

BagelGoesWalking · 18/11/2017 17:35

Kindle, a watch, books, some beauty/bath products, magazine subscription, a monthly beauty box type thing. Tickets to a show, yearly subscription to a cinema. Audible subscription. Fancy drink/food.

Kintan · 18/11/2017 18:31

A bottle of Penhaligon's Luna perfume, some slippers from Celtic & co, and if there's any leftover stuff from Lush and a Woodwick candle :)

Shiftymake · 18/11/2017 18:38

A nice watch, if not a new morning robe and slippers with pjs

CaseStudyResearch · 18/11/2017 18:58

That's our budget for each other this year.

I've asked for:
New coat (£100)
Kindle (mine died last week) (£60)

And then I've asked for a surprise - the last time I did this, he went way off budget so have told him to stick within this time.
