I give to 2 friends and we try and buy each other something that feels like a real treat, that we wouldn’t normally buy for ourselves. Budget is around £20. Last year I had lovely body oil from one of them. From the other a gorgeous leather notebook.
I was pondering on some lovely socks? Anyone recommend any?
Or any other ideas?
TIA Smile

A nice bottle of red wine and a new book 👍

Charbonnel et Walker dark chocolate cherry liquers. You get about half a dozen for £20 Grin.

knockknockknock · 17/11/2017 12:40

Magazine subscription- I love getting magazines all year.

dunraven · 17/11/2017 15:28

Another L’Occitane fan - lavender bath foam currently £20 at Debenhams. Something I wouldn’t normally buy myself (cos I couldn’t bring myself to spend £20+ on bubble bath) but would love to receive as a gift.

Cockmagic · 17/11/2017 15:30

Book token would be ideal

Please not socks lpl

I’d like a really big cup so I can drink a pint of tea at a time when the baby arrives!

I 2nd the Emma Bridgewater mugs, I especially love the Christmas ones but also would be happy with one of the other designs.

LaceandChintz · 17/11/2017 18:39

Woollen or angora socks

fuzzywuzzy · 17/11/2017 18:44

White company does cashmere socks.

I want a teapot and tea set from twinning, currently drinking tea by the gallon.

HelloSquirrels · 17/11/2017 18:45

Bath bombs and nice chocolate

NataliaOsipova · 17/11/2017 19:23

Laduree macaroons!

The MrsGloss Christmas Beauty Box will take you slightly over budget, but the products are worth £169, and you could always split them up for multiple gifts- there are some lovely things in it.

Tentomidnight · 19/11/2017 22:05

Gold accessorize Z earrings and a mini bottle of prosecco

Almostthere15 · 20/11/2017 10:47

Really good shower gel (because it's an everyday treat but I never buy it myself) or hand wash and hand cream (though I think that's particular to me).

What about cashmere wrist warmers, someone on here recommended turtle dove and they are so gorgeous with a lovely story.

Personally I absolutely love Home type magazines. We don't live in the UK but we get 25 Beautiful Homes, Ideal Home, Country Living etc and I adore them all but they're expensive here. If someone gave me a subscription to a Home style mag I would soooooo happy!!!

I had a quick look and saw this although we don't get this here but it looks like something I'd enjoy Grin ... www.magazine.co.uk/black-friday-promotions/your-home-magazine

L'Occitane Shea Butter Handcream, exactly £20 and wonderful.

missyB1 · 20/11/2017 21:01

Crabtree and Evelyn La source exfoliating massage bar, and Goatmilk triple milled soap.

Katescurios · 20/11/2017 21:06

Do either of them have a hobby?

I knit and would be in heaven I I was bought 1 single skein of a really lovely hand dyed yarn. I can't justify the cost at £20ish a go so its something I'll never buy myself.

Costa card or book voucher would also go down well.

DeathByMascara · 20/11/2017 21:08

A bath tray, one of those ones you can rest your book & wine glass on!
