Just a little thread discussing what we'd like for Christmas (if anything).

I only ask DP for specific things, no-one else. The only thing I can think of at the moment is a bottle of Chanel perfume; I've not tried it but reviews look good- anyone tried the Coco Mademoiselle? Blush

What are you hoping/asking for? Smile

Re Chanel, whilst I do like Madmoiselle, (sp? Sorry) i prob prefer Coco. Although that might be because I'm a bit older now... it was the other way around in my 20s!

I suspect I'll get nothing if my birthday was anything to go by (a whispa. I kid you not. He can whistle for a Xmas present!)

SquareSophia · 26/09/2017 20:50

A butchery course.

Of course, my family or DH won't buy it for me as they think they know better, so I'll end up with some fucking smellies, a cookbook, and an ice cream maker.

Divingheadfirst · 26/09/2017 20:59

Thanks unicorn that looks great. I've sent him the link Grin

Jedimum1 · 26/09/2017 21:10

Posting without RTFT because I want to think about it without influences Grin I would like some Dr Martens boots, perfume, make up, geeky accessories or clothes (any merchandise from my favourite TV series/films/game), an evening to the cinema and some new slippers. I can always do with a new mug for work too. Something funny, some in-Joke gift, something geeky and something practical. I'm sorted. It would be amazing, though, if I could get something like a full day off (no cooking, looking after kids, housework, etc. Just watching TV and being served cups of tea).

If you are a Starbucks fan, there's currently a Groupon code for £10 gift card for £5 cost.

I actually like the ancestry DNA test too. Or one of those food intolerances ones. I just wonder how accurate they are. Anything over 75% and I'd be happy with it

BorisTrumpsHair · 26/09/2017 21:26

I'd Love a super fitness tracker, HR monitor thing, (without having to do any research as to the best one)

HolyShmoly · 26/09/2017 21:59

Coco Madmoiselle is lovely.

I would like, in no particular order:
A kindle paperwhite
A rucksack exactly like my current one but leather
A really nice letter opener
A holiday in the sun
To be pregnant
Laser eye surgery
Some really simple but excellent quality jewellery that'll last forever.

Mostly I'm hoping for the pregnancy.
DH has completely fucked up my birthday and last birthday, so I'm not holding out massive hope for him getting any of the other Christmas presents. We get token gifts from our parents so it's only really each other that we buy for.

Money can't buy -

Good health, peace of mind, the perfect job... You get the idea

Things money can buy but I won't get - a PC (would help with the job), decent trainers, this pen : www.montblanc.com/en-gb/collection/writing-instruments/patron-of-art/115973-fountain-pen-patron-of-art-homage-to-scipione-borghese-li.html

Money can buy and I may be lucky to get - Amazon Fire stick, new calligraphy set & other craft supplies, warm dressing gown and slippers, good dark choc and spiced oak smoked rum.

Longines watch in yellow gold
LV Neverfull
Spa day at local country club
Suede Tods loafers
Eyelash extensions
Moncler puffa
Buttery soft black leather biker jacket

Pretty please

AgnesBrownsCat · 26/09/2017 23:35

I wear Coco but only buy it on duty free . My current bottle is being rationed atm .
I'd like a painting by Paula McKinney or Roseanne Bell or Scott Bateman or an art print by Keith Drury. Google him his work is unusual and incredibly eye catching .
Hope the previous poster gets her baby wish for Christmas . That would be a wonderful gift .

KarateKitten · 27/09/2017 00:22

I really want a big frying pan from the Aga shop! Maybe some perfume as my last bottle just ran out (after 4 yrs😱). I'd love a white linen tablecloth.

Oh God, I sound like I'm 60.

AgnesBrownsCat · 27/09/2017 00:26
