Let's carry on here until we can sort a proper one.

Like the pawsecco idea! Was to place an order, stopped at p&p £3. Searched to find a promo code for them, but found that for Amazon Prime its an add on item at the same price as original website.

Theimpossiblegirl · 18/08/2017 13:42

Apparently lidl are doing a case of 6 prosecco for £20 next weekend. So £3.33 a bottle. I will be there.

MrsCrimbo74 · 18/08/2017 13:43

Kids backpacks £1.00 at poundshop.com standard delivery is £4.95 though. But if you order loads of bits it's not so bad

Currently in Primark Tottenham court Rd and the cauldron mugs are back

No envelope pillows or babygros yet but there's tons of other stuff here

Iwannasnack · 18/08/2017 13:59

Just been to Tesco and got the Moana necklace!
Loads of bargains in their toy section. Mostly outdoor toys. Paddling pools 75p, medium sized water guns 25p. Bubble gun 75p. Got a Beauty and the beast accessories set £2.50 down from £10. Some character stuff was reduced. Bing plush was £7.50 down from £25. Some peppa and Cars stuff. Ride ons and scooters for under a tenner.
And they had loads of tubs of roses and miniature heroes by the door. You know, the ones that they do for CHRISTMAS!!!!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 18/08/2017 14:06

Someone linked to the HEMA website on the last thread, just been down Tottenham Court Road and there's a store there opening next month if anyone is local

FireflyGirl · 18/08/2017 14:15

The Mothercare sale is on.

The Happyland stuff is only about £10 off, and they usually do it down to half price at some point before Christmas, so might be worth waiting if you're looking for that.

But they have got some good reductions:
Teepee/tipi £20 down from £35. Think someone was looking for this, but can't find it on the thread.

Rosebud Pet Grooming Parlour and cake and ice cream shop both £10 down from £25.

The Whizzworld magnetic trio sets are down to £6 from £12, apart from the pink ones.

Also, shape recognition set half price at £7.50, and seashore threading beads £5.00 from £12.00.

balalalala · 18/08/2017 14:44

Think I'm the only person left on mn who didn't buy the cornerstone deal last year... Is the same good deal still available? Are those who bought them still pleased?

HouseworkIsASin10 · 18/08/2017 14:47

And they had loads of tubs of roses and miniature heroes by the door. You know, the ones that they do for CHRISTMAS!!!!

Ha ha you know that won't happen. I am not buying any tubs until 24th December, that way I won't have wasted a fortune scoffing chocs for 2 months Grin

MrsGotobed · 18/08/2017 14:48

I've just been on AliExpress and, I can't remember if this has been mentioned yet, but they have loads of Fairy Garden bits and pieces for pennies.

If you click on free p&p and then search 'low to high' you'll find rabbits, fencing, toadstools, benches and chairs, ladybirds, figures, stone steps etc..... starting from 13p each.

Wish DD was younger as she would have loved this (probably still would TBH!)

HouseworkIsASin10 · 18/08/2017 14:49

balalalala My DH loves the Cornerstone razors, we just stop and start them whenever he runs out. They have new type blades and handles now which apparently are even better.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 18/08/2017 14:56

We are still using cornerstone, reminded me I need to do another order as we are running out of the face scrub and moisturiser

Offer is still on MY LINK
Refer a friend to Cornerstone and we’ll give you both £10 to spend on our shaving supplies as a thank you. Share your unique referral link below - once they've joined, we'll credit your account - you'll be shaving for free in no time!

So the razor and blades would cost only £4 or you could use the credit for the products

TealStar · 18/08/2017 15:01

Thanks for the head's up on the Sainsbury's 25% off betsy86

I just bought two bottles of pink Moët which is down to £30 from £40 with an additional 25% off plus four of their mini pink Spumante bottles which are down from £3 to £1.90-odd each.

That's my Christmas Day Champagne sorted, with some mid-week treats thrown in as well!

(I also redeemed £15 of Nectar points I didn't know I had!)

MrsGotobed · 18/08/2017 15:04

I nearly did the Cornerstone thing last year for DP but thankfully I didn't as he has been rocking the bearded look since December!

HouseworkIsASin10 · 18/08/2017 15:07

My Cornerstone link if anybody needs one:

MakeTeaNotWar · 18/08/2017 15:53

Would any kind Mumsnetter be able to pick up & post me the Moana necklace? It's DD's 7th birthday next week, she'd absolutely love it Thanks

Betsy86 · 18/08/2017 15:57

VinoTime · 18/08/2017 16:46

I had my big Christmas box down from the top of the wardrobe today to stash away my first Works order - it's already full! Blush I'd forgotten the bits and pieces I picked up in the January sales, including all the beautiful Clintons cards I got for pennies. I had the warm fuzzies looking at the wintry scenes Smile

My first Lisa Angel order showed up - one mug in a box twenty times its size Hmm Still waiting on the other two orders, which seem to be taking forever! Anyone else?

Chocolatecake12 · 18/08/2017 16:53

I've just got back from tescos and they are selling off lots of their summer toys that could be suitable for Christmas and stocking fillers.
Cars pull along trucks for £2
Cars Bubbles for 13p
Cars bowling skittles for £1.75
Plus other summer games stuff like badminton sets for £2 etc

FoofFighter · 18/08/2017 16:54

I think Busy Books were mentioned on a previous thread as being on offer at tesco.com - checked store out today and not on offer but a lot more choice, there's a Moana one that looked great which is now on my list :)
