Wow, prequel is all filled up and it's not even august!

So I will start a new op at some point but since it's only July and things will be slower the links will portably be out of date by the time the next thread starts so I'll save that for later.

Welcome everyone to Christmas Bargain Central, a place to post and share ideas and offers .

Red or Dead - Release me 50ml EDT and free clutch bag, £7.25 delivered from Fragrance Direct (£4.25 with free C&C).

No idea what it smells like but would make a decent stocking filler for a teenager :)

DrablittleCrab · 08/08/2017 13:49

Been to Asda and purchased a tent for £5 (was £20) and a ball pool for £1.25.

Does anyone know where I can get ball pool balls cheap as there were none left in my Asda.

Also been to Argos and got a guitar hero for PS4 for £14.99 and I think the last 9 boxes of shopkins in South Yorkshire for 99p each!

So excited for Christmas Grin determined to be organised this year. I'm working relief in the two weeks leading up to Christmas (including, I think, until 7am Christmas Day Shock ) so I won't have time for last-minute shopping!

APocketfulOfStars · 08/08/2017 14:15

Loving all the bargains on here!

Has anyone ever bought from www.patpat.com ? I've just discovered them and they have some really cute baby/toddler outfits (including Christmas ones!) reduced, as well as other clothes and home stuff. Good prices and free delivery over a certain amount (30e), but does anyone know about the quality?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/08/2017 14:26

Hate it when you see lego cheaper than you all ready bought it at and have it stashed in the loft Grin

Thanks for the Red or Dead link, that looks like a real bargain so have ordered 2! It is actually at The Fragrance Shop and code AB10SAVE gives you 10% off Smile.

Have just seen this idea for an advent calendar it's a Children's Naughty Advent calendar, it's £15 on NOTHS.com however, it's just balloons with a number on the front and a paper message inside with a naughty activity for the children to do a day, things like "eat your dinner under the table", "jump on the bed". Not suggesting you buy it, but if you were to make it yourself it's quite a bargainous idea, and something a bit different and fun

Are the hotel chocolat subscription packages long dated? I know lots used them last year but I'm wondering if it's too soon to order?.

TheImprobableGirl · 08/08/2017 18:11

mrs loved that online shopping fail site- the wolf tail GrinGrin

Got a couple of good bargains in my local Tesco reduced section- lions gate white wine (3 bottle in a box) for £8.67 and 12 x green and black minis for £2.20

christmasunicorn · 08/08/2017 18:20

If anyone lives near Lakeside, there was a playmobil play area and they were giving away free playmobil! We got there as it was closing and there was only fairies or 1.2.3 available (much to my 8yr old ds's disappointment). Ds's(1&5) were quite happy with the 1.2.3 though

margaritasbythesea · 08/08/2017 18:47

I got Hot Wheels Star Wars die cast vehicles in Poundworld for a pound each today.

Reastie · 08/08/2017 18:51

Tolberone if your niece is like my dd she will try to sit in it regardless Grin

So many good deals being posted but I'm trying to not buy a single one until I've gone through and allocated my stash .

I am, however, on the look out for those room scented wax things you put in an electric burner if anyone knows what I'm talking about. I've got a Christmas themed one for myself and mil for Christmas and want to give her some scented stuff to go with it and I would like some Christmas smelly wax stuff to put in mine. I have no idea where to start to get it. Melter/burner thing was a great deal though at 75% off at a local garden centre.

They had loads of the wax burner stuff cheap in asda might be worth a look! In with the home inspiration candles etc that were also on offer x

Theimpossiblegirl · 08/08/2017 19:09

Some Hotel Chocolat stuff has a shortish date due to the use of cream etc. You could order them and scoff them yourself if they are going out of date. (any excuse) :)

LostMyRubySlippers · 08/08/2017 19:17

Aldi wooden airport set- £19.99 with free delivery

christmasunicorn · 08/08/2017 19:21

I get all my wax melts from scent circus they do a themed box each month which is released for general sale at 8am on the 1st. I'm hoping they will do an amazing Christmas box (I've only been getting them since April). Look them up on Instagram to see what the boxes are like

Frid · 08/08/2017 19:27

That Aldi airport was never £29.99. It's been at my local Aldi for £19.99 for over a month, the liars. It does look good though

christmasunicorn · 08/08/2017 19:42

Tsum tsum playset £7.99 for prime customers only (go onto other sellers). Originally £24.99

Soslowmo · 08/08/2017 19:55

Thanks for the Red or Dead link. Do you know if it's a free bag with each bottle of perfume ordered or one bag per order?? 🤷‍♀️

Tattybogle89 · 08/08/2017 19:59

BicycleMadeForTwo · 08/08/2017 20:14

MrsCrimbo thank you, I'm stealing that NOTS version idea for our advent calendar. Just gonna write the activities out myself and keep the £16 for chocolate!
