Ooh Christmas is Coming and the £2 Jar is getting fat......well it should be , though I had to wrestle £2 from the sweaty paws of my teenage son.
We have a House Rule:
£2 in the tin and we divvy it up in late Nov.
This year I've joined the £2 and the change (10p/5p/2p/1p) together, stops me weighing the tin and trying to guess ...
I threatened DS if he didn't give me the £2 , he'd get nothing from the jar. Commonsense and DS penny pinchyness won. Hurrrah!
I have a weirdy Christmas dream too. I've got to the Big day and I've done nothing.
No decorations, no food, nothing.
In my dream I'm running round the garden cutting ivy to wrap round the candles, and trying to ponce up dinner.
I wake uo really sad because it's a whole year till I can try again. Then relief...its March!
