They're very fast moving but I have picked up the odd item as a result of them. Despite having a huuuuge extended family we don't actually buy for a lot of them (by agreement, honest) so our spend is modest really - although I'd hate to add it up

We have a very lucky little girl who has had lots and lots of lovely presents, endless cuddles and a treat of cake and ice cream.

She's already bathed, bottled and fast asleep. Busy day for a little girl 💜

I made a start on stocking fillers this week.Local Crabtree & Evelyn closed down so I got hand mini hand creams and free fancy tins. I'll fill those with things like emery boards etc.

How did we get a day ahead?! I started from Christmas Day? Maybe they started from
Boxing Day?

I think it's because we started at 365 on Christmas Day. It's 366 on Christmas Day, 365 on Boxing Day.

I thought we counting down to Christmas Eve which is one of the best days for countdowners. We can sit back and enjoy the magic (whilst feeling a little sad that we can't prepare for it any more).

Yes, I was counting down to Christmas eve too! For us Christmas starts on Christmas Eve, all the wrapping, shopping and prep is done and we just get to sit and enjoy for 2 days 😍 Christmas eve is my favourite :)

Hi there fellow Christmas enthusiasts

I hope you don't mind if I join in? I love Christmas and lurked on last years' thread.

My main aim for this is to cut down on the amount of crap toys we buy for dc. We always spend a fortune and the toys are lost/broken/forgotten about by the end of January.

And in honour of Rudolph day, I think we'll watch Home Alone later!

We counted down to Christmas Day last year (and had to do an adjustment with single figure days to go!).

If we are counting down to Christmas Eve then that's different!
