Thanks to those who PM'ed me re the NES. I have been stalking stock informer but the alerts never seem to be sent to me and the times I have stumbled upon stock at Tesco it goes in my basket but won't allow me to check out as they don't have enough stock....

I may have managed to get one from Argos on eBay but it hasn't been dispatched yet despite the fact it is meant to arrive tomorrrow.

Amazon have been absolutely fucking useless. The tracking number they provided isn't recognised by TNT and TNT can't help without the proper tracking number. I keep getting told different things by Amazon but they have no idea where it is and are now saying it never got handed to the courier but have no idea where it actually is! I am so angry with them as they basically just keep offering me a refund - I want the sodding NES!

Also GAME are utter wankers, I went into both stores in town and explained the situation and asked if there was any chance they were getting any in before Christmas and both the people I spoke to found the situation "hilarious" and said I had no chance as all the ones coming in had been reserved by other people and staff.

Oooft. Stock informer alarm went off for the NES an while ago on the ToysRUs website. Paypal email confirms I've submitted an order for the amount, but ToysRUs still haven't charged my Paypal account.

Best to call that one a loss...?
