I just used the yankee code on full priced items only I think as tried on sale stuff and it didn't work.

HotelNine · 04/12/2016 11:52

I got the Yankee code to work on non sale items but cannot get the free delivery so I am not completing the order. I had to copy and paste from the Internet link though.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 04/12/2016 11:55

I can't find anything without a discount though on Yankee and still can't fi d anywhere to enter a code

Wait4nothing · 04/12/2016 12:12

Yankee code is on full price only and with £4 post and packaging - I've given it a miss

bigredfireengine · 04/12/2016 13:16

It is free delivery on large orders. Mine was £109 reduced to £59 (so took £50 off for over £100) and free delivery.

Kirriemuir · 04/12/2016 13:26

Has anyone tested next codes for same address family members? I have a fair bit to buy and though abut setting an account up for DH? I already have my account.

margaritasbythesea · 04/12/2016 13:47

Am I the only one who really wants to know if tiggles got it right about very tired's icecream dinosaur? Grin

Badders - I don't think I need a 2m long snake but I could be wrong.... Was it a bargain?

In case anyone else is after a lockable box, I eventually settled on one from Claire's. It's not A4 but it has rainbow glittery stripes. I think it will be popular. On their bogof I got a means up set and two umbrellas. I'm still smarting that I didn't get my 20% off. I hope someone else has used the code.

SixtyDegreesNorth · 04/12/2016 13:55

Ooh BigRed what did you get? I could spend hundreds there if I had hundreds.

Badders123 · 04/12/2016 14:09

It was a keel toys one and a lovely shade of blue
£13 and free del with prime
He already has one but it's seen better days tbh

DollyPlastic · 04/12/2016 14:26

Ahem. I don't wish to alarm anyone when you lot are so organised but I've not bought any presents yet, for anyone Shock

I've been in denial and have now entered full panic mode. I have two DS, 17 and 18. The older one is at uni. They don't want anything specific, just a few bits to open.

If anyone has any ideas, any at all, I'll love you forever Blush

Mrsmadevans · 04/12/2016 14:31

DollyPlastic · 04/12/2016 14:35

Thanks very much, I'll head there tomorrow morning.

I hadn't even thought of them. I'm useless this year.

Badders123 · 04/12/2016 14:39

Dolly
hyperventilates at thought of no gifts
Um....
My eldest is 13 so different age range however, some ideas might be:
Hoodie
Pants (mine get a set of new pants every Xmas :))
In ear Earphones - got some for ds from boots that are like a zip and so can be adjusted
Costa gift card
Nando's gift card
Cards against humanity game
A sweet hamper - if they like sweets - some places like b and m do American sweets if you want something a bit different
Chocolate?
Beanbag for gaming?
Funky USB stick?
Nice branded scarf and gloves set
Do they like aftershave or cologne?
Um....

duzzlightyearsmum · 04/12/2016 14:39

Pretty much finished here just to wrap now Confused!

Does anyone know where I could get hold of some large and fairly cheap boxes (nice looking gift style or not) to use for a Disneyland holiday reveal present. I need them large enough to hold decent sized teddies about 30cm tall and obviously round as well as a few little bits and a helium balloon! I've looked all round but can't seem to source any so any ideas would be fab?

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 04/12/2016 14:45

duzz how about a plain box covered in wrapping paper/painted?
Or depending on ages of children one of those colour in houses or a disney tent!! :)

duzzlightyearsmum · 04/12/2016 14:48

Yes happy to go with a plain box wrapped up but am struggling to get hold of big enough boxes! Xmas Hmm

We already have a big pop up tent thing so don't want another one if I can help it! Also have this idea in my head whereby they open the boxes and the balloons pop up to give a magical effect not even slightly picky

Badders123 · 04/12/2016 14:52

Paperchase?

WhyHasAllTheRumGone · 04/12/2016 15:07

Anyone seen a good price on Minecraft story mode complete for the Xbox one? Seems to be about £30 everywhere.

CremeBrulee · 04/12/2016 15:10

The works usually has nice large cube shaped storage boxes in different styles for about £7 or two for £10. I bought this one for DS's room last year and they are actually great quality for the price. There are loads of different styles and I think they do Disney ones sometimes in store?

London Underground Box

WhyHasAllTheRumGone · 04/12/2016 15:13

Never mind! Amazon have it for £23 something Xmas Smile

margaritasbythesea · 04/12/2016 15:20

Thanks badders ... Tempting for a twitch...

rogueantimatter · 04/12/2016 15:25

Ideas for teenagers - portable mobile charger, battery-operated toothbrush, luxury hot chocolate or those melt in the mug chocolate sticks, playing cards, toiletries, mini torch on a key-ring, string of lights for their room, kilner jar-style glass, recipe book, disposable hand-warmers, boot socks, cushion for their room, bean bag, lava lamp, disco ball style lamp, notebook, travel-size toiletries, portable speaker.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 04/12/2016 16:00

DD has put 'a fairy that sings with a switch' on her list.... does anyone have any idea what this might be please?

For context it might be something she has seen on a tv advert as that appears to be the source of a few other ideas. We only watch BBC at home so I haven't seen what she's referring to. I think they have Milkshake and Nickelodeon at the CM before school though??

DollyPlastic · 04/12/2016 16:15

Some great ideas, thank you very much. I'm going shopping tomorrow and I've actually got a list to go with now Wine
