What to get difficult to buy for daughter

She's 15, no particular hobbies (partly due to disability, partly as she's up to her ears in schoolwork).

I'm struggling because the things my generation would have wanted at that age are no longer relevant.

CDs, DVDs, board games (yes I'm old Sad)...

So what the blooming heck do I get her?

She is into - Netflix (vampire diaries, PLL, scream tv series, stranger things), she's not really a film person (that may be my fault I've spoiled her with 80's classics Grin)

And...make up (too much in my opinion! Started with the zoella crap a few years ago she still practices with the tutorials etc it does seem to be the in thing now) problem is I don't know what brands/products she likes (I know nothing don't wear it).

Money not abundant but ok (I save throughout year).

She has a phone (of course she's 15 Blush) and laptop already (black Friday last year as she needed for school).

She's not really a techy person (I do more on my tech than she does on hers she doesn't even like texting Confused).

Also already has a Bluetooth speaker thingy (prize from a competition at school). Not a super snazzy one but does what she wants.

So...hit me with ideas please

Oh - have to be able to purchase online, not eBay though (long story).

While I'm at it she's 16 early Feb so I'd like ideas for that too please.

Just had a look, appreciate the thought but not really her style.

If she likes juice, how about a Nutribullet? Gone down v well with friends daughters of that age.
Everyone seems to be getting those cinema style light boxes this year that you slide the letters - loads of them on Amazon

Regional language fail - juice here means fizzy drinks. She'll very occasionally do a smoothie in the blender with encouragement but not really her thing.

Got real techniques stuff on way, need to sort some money into the right account then I can get ordering.

Here's a thing - wrapping paper/gift bags would normally get from pound shops/wilko, where would you recommend?

Wrapping from the pound shop here!

If she likes fuzzy drinks, what about a soda stream and some flavoured drink bases? I know it's not the healthiest Grin but it makes soda water too...

Graphista · 25/11/2016 18:18

Can't get to pound shop online please?

we had a soda stream it hardly got used plus doesn't do the flavour she likes. But good idea might help someone else reading.

wilkinsons and the pound shop are both online.

Ok found something she would like at a place called 'outdoor kit' but I don't know this company and that makes me nervous
