I've had a mixed day...

I've just had some success on Amazon - Now that's what I call music 20th Century (£9.99) and 21st century (£8) were both cheaper than elsewhere plus you get a free ripped copy of the music - ds1 is just getting into music and has asked for mp3s of individual songs when I asked him if he wanted any music (I was expecting cds!) and plenty of them are onthe 21st century one --and there are plenty that I like and he will learn to like on the 20th century one Xmas Grin)

I also got Zip it word game (bit like bananagrams) which was half price at £6, Dobble (which is a favourite of these threads but I've only just succumbed to at £7.49 which is 43% off.

And finally got some of the sugru as it was so cheap compared to normally and I have several things to try it out on...

For any Beano fans they have 25% off on their website - all postage in the UK is free too which is goo. And if you like the teeshirts, you can get 2 for £20 instead of £14 each, using the code 2TEES. Unfortunately the codes don't stack - I tried! - so if you're just getting the tshirts that's the better deal.

I know there are some rugby fans on the threads - if you still need stuff, I've just had an email through from Leicester Tigers to say 20% off everything - might be worth checking on the shop for your team to see if there are any good deals - and signing up for their newsletter as they often seem to come through when they are doing particularly well or badly and need to boost sales.

For anyone with a Game of Thrones fan in the family. My friend is an amazing photographer and has just set up a photography Facebook page called R Black photography. His current competition is to win a framed print of the dark hedges in Northern Ireland. Would make a lovely present. Very reasonably priced too.

Ikea do mulled apple juice, it was less than £2 a bottle. They also do a non-alcoholic mulled fruit punch drink.

insan1tyscartching · 25/11/2016 23:05

Nintendo Mini Classic at Argos be quick.

mashpot · 25/11/2016 23:06

RJ do you have a link for that Hotel du Vin deal? Sounds good but my googling has led to many other deals I don't want! Thanks.

ispentitwithyou1 · 25/11/2016 23:08

CelticPromise · 25/11/2016 23:16

Thankyou whoever tipped off about 20% Toys R Us cashbook. I've ordered DS the lego train- it's £20 off anyway and the cashback, lego voucher and free delivery make it a great deal. Just waiting on my email confirmation now and hoping they honour everything!

bobkate · 25/11/2016 23:18

Yay - thanks insan1 I have just ordered one...apparently will be there in 4 days to collect. FIngers crossed!

insan1tyscartching · 25/11/2016 23:28

Must be expecting a consignment I imagine Bobkate. Had confirmation and collection code so it seems legit anyway.

bobkate · 25/11/2016 23:36

butterflymum · 26/11/2016 00:05

Thanks, Ness1234 - gosh, high indeed.

cowssheephens · 26/11/2016 00:13

SpecialK24 · 26/11/2016 00:58

Hi ladies,

Not sure if it has been mentioned but the orchard game shopping list is £2.64 again at Tesco direct. Tell the time was also under £3 but gone back up again to nearly £12 :(

Also brought the silver cross pram for DD but she will only be 2 in March, is it too old for her? She's really in to babies at the moment and has a tiny pepper pig pram she loves but it's old and tatty now.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 26/11/2016 01:04

littlereindeer aldi do alcohol free mulled wine for £1.69 a bottle. I bought some to have over Christmas with the kids - going to chop some fruit and use my mulled wine glasses :)

Mulled cider is amazing - lidl do one but I bought the spices set from tesco for £1.60 Xmas Smile

I quite enjoyed black Friday I bought a few bits I wanted - pokemon dvd collection £9.99, couple of band tees £6, ingenio saucepans £38, hair curlers £11, sonic xmas top for dp £10 Xmas Grin

MaryMagdelene · 26/11/2016 01:12

For the Irish shoppers Littlewoods have really cute single size 'winter tree' duvets on special at €6.80 but they're selling fast.

Biscuit tins in store only. Tip is to check the recording works before you leave the store.
Hold down black button and speak .release black button when you have finished your message. To listen briefly press button.
I think the green ribbons have shortbread and the red ribbons have gingerbread .

GardenWorm · 26/11/2016 06:20

Clarks Ladies Kendra Dime Chalk £8 using code BLACK16, the code works on all the site

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 26/11/2016 06:52

Argos oos of the nes now, if anyone finds it back in stock please let me know.

Ispen I couldn't find that tin online either, I think it may be store only.

Aw gutted for you Reastie - they seemed to have them in Argos all over the country late last night. Hope you manage to get one soon!

beadyboo · 26/11/2016 07:46

After months of asking for ideas, DH has requested some fragrance from Penhaligons (the day after I bought him a gift set of his usual aftershave)
It is pretty pricey stuff, has anyone seen any discount codes around?
I bought one of the hundreds of recordable biscuit tins from m&s yesterday too, never even thought to check it worked first. They also had a nice deal on a stocking plus 3 edible stocking fillers for £10 and up to 50% off some gifts. I got a lovely set of nail varnishes for MIL for £8.

SitsOnFence · 26/11/2016 08:02

Can I ask which Pokemon DVD collection you bought nocuts, and whether it is still on offer? I want to buy DS some of the Pokemon films, but don't know where to start! I know he enjoys watching the some of the TV series on YouTube, but am fairly sure he hasn't seen any of the films.
